Located in the foothills of the Catalina Mountains, this hotel offers a heated outdoor pool and rooms with views of Tucson and the rugged natural scenery. Free Wi-Fi is also included. A flat-screen cable TV is featured in all rooms at the La Posada Lodge and Casitas. A microwave, small fridge, and coffee-making facilities are also included. Rooms offer a private entrance for maximum privacy, as well as a patio. A hot tub and fitness center are included at the La Posada Lodge and Casitas. The Gringo Grill & Cantina, open for lunch & dinner, features Sonora-inspired cuisine. Guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor seating, as well as drinks from the bar. - I like the old ambiance and the bar/dinner
- Very quiet and very quaint. Good location. Hotel employee was friendly and helpful
- We did not like anything. We checked out within 10mins of checking in
Cons -
- The mattress was filthy. I paid for a King room with a great view and balcony/patio and I was given a queen. I asked about being in the front rooms facing N. Oracle Rd. I didn't get a balcony.
- Closet door and receptacles by bed didn't work. The coffee machine didn't work well. There was a hole patch on the ceiling that wasn't painted/ wear marks on the toilet seat. Parking is tight. Not a 4-star hotel It could be with more attention to detail.
- Unsafe, doors didn?t lock, misrepresented by photos and star rating, they offered us a room that ?someone else left because it smelled?
