Great location Great staff Beautiful amenities
For the price this room was fine. The location is great. There is no elevator to get to the third-floor. The room was for my elderly mother so it was difficult for her to get the luggage up and down. The room was old but clean and decent.
The location, the nice attractions at the resort, the accommodations (more spacious than anticipated), the great and well-equipped kitchen, the quiet atmosphere, and the well-maintained grounds. The bathroom towels and bathmats were excellent. Laundry: A+

It was easy to extend my stay. We added two nights and the staff kept us in the same room. The AC was nice and cold and they had extra pillows upon request.

Nice new hotel.
The room was great. Breakfast for the kids. A pool for the kids. Very family friendly!
We especially liked the two rooms of the suite that were separated by a door so we could each enjoy our own bedroom (bed and sofa sleeper). We also liked the large bathroom, two televisions, kitchen area, and free breakfast at the hotel every morning.

Top Tips
- Book 2 to 4 months ahead for stays between October and May to secure preferred room types and rates during high demand periods. Last-minute bookings can raise hotel prices by 20-30% compared to advance reservations.
- Budget for mandatory resort fees of $20-40 per night at properties offering pools or golf, which may not appear until the final booking stage. Confirm exact fee amounts and included amenities by checking the final booking summary.
- Ensure hotel Wi-Fi offers speeds above 20 Mbps if planning to work remotely. If booking outside Fountain Hills town center, verify connection quality in advance—some areas may have reduced coverage.
- Plan for car-based travel in Fountain Hills, as public transport is limited. Factor in ride-share costs or choose lodging within walking distance (under 0.5 mi) of main attractions if seeking car-free options.
- Drink tap water safely—Fountain Hills supplies potable water, helping you avoid extra costs on bottled water, especially during warmer seasons with higher hydration needs.
- Expect a 30-45 minute drive to Scottsdale for broader dining and entertainment. Check ride-share estimates during peak hours, or choose a hotel with onsite or nearby dining if staying locally.
- Visiting June-September can lead to hotel rate savings of 15-25%, though expect daytime highs above 37°C (98°F). Plan indoor activities or use hotel amenities like pools to stay comfortable.
- Factor in potential increases to utility-related charges during June-September, as higher electricity use for air conditioning may impact hotel operating costs or amenity availability. Review any seasonal energy surcharges during booking.
