The Econo Lodge Inn and Suites hotel in Evergreen, Alabama is a blend of style and affordability. Conveniently located off of highway 83, attractions such as the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course, Wind Creek Casino and the Gulf Beaches are just a short drive away. This hotel is near many outdoor recreation opportunities as well as attractions like: Sepulga River,Historic L&N Depot and Booker’s Mill. The town hosts many annual events including the strawberry festival and the Evergreen Sausage Festival. The Econo Lodge Inn and Suites offers many amenities including: free hot breakfast, free high-speed wireless Internet access and free local calls. The hotel is pet friendly. - I was there for a wedding and everyone who stayed there in the party were treated with the best hospitality! Everyone was friendly and so helpful.
Cons -
- Room was not in good shape. Light bulbs missing, tables pushed together in the way. Was supposed to be a "handicap accessible" room and was anything but except it was on the first floor. The shower wall was broken around the regulator knob. Terrible!
- Mattress were filthy. Staff was rude. I had to pay a extra $20 to get two queen beds. They beds looked infested with bugs. Just gross NOT worth $--- bucks a night
- Just having had hard wood put in they weren¿t the cleanest. (We had ¿Walmart feet¿ after walking around barefoot. But they were new to the hotel, and they were currently remodeling. So I wouldn¿t say it was a huge issue.
