Nice decor, comfortable
It's not really a five stars hotel. ,just like three stars.
Kindness of reception.

You cannot beat the location. It's fantastic, central to everything, close to the subway and hundreds of food options on Wangfujing Street.
Location & some members of the staff who helped with the check in.

Honestly, there was nothing I liked about this hotel. I was expecting a four star hotel but what I got was a one or two star hotel instead. The area in the lobby next to the elevator had such a rancid smell that I shuddered every time I had to take the e.
Nothing really
good location 10 minute walk to subway.

The room was clean and comfortable.
This hotel is exceptionally clean. Beddings and linens are so comfortable. There are complimentary bottles of water. Lush towels and bathrobes with matching slippers. Furnitures are of good quality that I wish we could have stayed longer than one night.

Very nice hotel. Good location. Hotel has a warm good and comfortable feel.
I have stayed with four seasons Beijing four times this year. They are sincere about quality. It is not that easy in China to maintain high quality of service given guests of diversified "habits". The best I like is security, strict and courteous.
The staff members are courteous, and room is clean, and the location is good.

Top Tips
- Present your passport and a local phone number at check-in. Beijing hotels are legally required to register foreign guests with local Public Security. Automated kiosks at major chains request the same. Confirm your passport is valid for the entire stay.
- Book 6-12 weeks ahead for National Day (Oct 1-7) and Spring Festival. Major hotels regularly increase rates by around 100% during these periods compared to low season. Prices and availability usually drop quickly after the holidays.
- Select hotels by proximity to subway lines, not just by map distance. Staying in Dongcheng or Xicheng typically means you can reach Tiananmen or the Forbidden City in 10-25 minutes using Line 1, 2, or 5 with one to three transfers.
- Choose hotels within a 5-10 minute walk of Line 2, 1, or 10 station exits for faster sightseeing. These locations usually keep commutes to key attractions under 25 minutes.
- On arrival, expect a passport deposit or ID photocopy. Mid-range hotels usually place a CNY 200-500 hold (approx. $28-$69 USD), so bringing a printed passport copy can reduce processing time at check-in.
- For reliable wired or Wi-Fi internet, select established business chains or four- and five-star international brands. These routinely advertise in-room wired Ethernet and meeting-room internet to support stable remote work calls.
- Google, Gmail, and WhatsApp are blocked by the Great Firewall. Confirm if your hotel offers 'international internet' or arrange a VPN before arrival, as installation is restricted once in China.
- Pay in RMB using UnionPay or local e-wallets (Alipay/WeChat Pay) to avoid Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) markups of 2-7%. If offered DCC at checkout, select RMB for lower costs.
- Use official airport or train station taxi lines or ask staff to call a metered taxi for you. DiDi ride-hailing works in Beijing but requires a Chinese phone number and passport for registration.
- Beijing often faces increased air pollution between November and February. For better air quality, prioritize hotels with modern HVAC or HEPA filtration, and consider carrying an N95 mask for outdoor use.
- Many hutong guesthouses and Siheyuan lack elevators or step-free access. If mobility is a concern, request accessible or ground-floor rooms in advance and confirm availability with the hotel before booking.
