Regarding the Holiday Inn in Naples - just want to make sure this survey is for the right hotel, as I stayed in 2 Priceline hotels on this trip. Unlikely I'd stay here again. It was remote. Although, the staff was friendly / helpful and the room was decent. The pasta, I had from their restaurant for lunch was exceptionally good. Their breakfast was also very good.

I paid for trip insurance. The map was not correct. Drove around 2 hours in the most horrible traffic ever and finally after rushing our lives several times gave up.

Family Traveling with Young Children
This hotel was in the middle of the ghetto,
I have seen some shady places in my time but this one takes the cake! This hotel stay was prepaid, we saw the location.
I did not feel safe getting out of the car so we kept on going, my daughter and
I slept in the car that night! That is how awful the location was!

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The staff spoke English. Because the hotel was located in the heart of an enormous city, travel from the hotel was intimidating. Streets of Naples are not marked. The hotel was clean.

have felt comfortable going out of hotel.
A nice, clean hotel. It was close to the airport, as I had a early morning flight. The staff was relatively friendly, but compared with the other Italians I dealt with during other parts of my trip, were not nearly has friendly or helpful. The room was well appointed and had a nice view of Mt. Vesuvius. The hotel also had WI-FI
internet service, which was a definite plus. Overall, a good experience. ...

My first stay was on the 16th floor, the ladies floor. It was nice and quiet although the sheets smelled of cigarette smoke. My second visit I was on the 12th floor. While other people were not especially noisy I heard
that they said.

More than a review is a complaint. The location of the hotel, very hard to find. We got to the hotel around 11pm (very tired) expecting the best from Holiday Inn American franchise, to our surprise was the worst experience ever. First, the room overall look very good. At the time we turn the AC, 20 minutes after, still not cool in the room, it was very hot, contact front desk to reported, front desk representative suggested to perhaps open the windows or he could send somebody to see the unit (Naples was over 70 degrees at night) technician came, checked, we were moved to a second room (smoking), waited for the AC to cool, still hot. Moved for the third time, still the AC was not cooling at all, so tired I felt sleep. On the other hand my husband couldn't, he went down to the reception at 2am (where it was hot too) and was offer a fourth room. Check in time started at 3pm, checking out at 10am, which I found so not fare. Talk to the manager, she was very sorry, unfortunately we were leaving to Rome the next day and nothing could be done to fix the horrible night we spent at the Holiday Inn. Honestly I think I should get a full refund for the stayed at this hotel. ...

We were in Naples during the month of August. The hotel is located in a nice business area, but everything was closed due to summer vacation. The hotel's maid did not leave bath towels on our second night's stay. I called to request a couple and never got them. I finally went to the small spa they have and took some. I would only return to Naples to get the boat to Sorrento and Capri or the train to Pompeii. If anyone has ever been to the alleys in downtown Los Angeles, that's what Naples is like in my opinion. The streets are unclean, lots of traffic, and the quality of clothes in most shops is cheap. I would stay elsewhere next time we are in that area. ...
