Hotel Guest Reviews of the Holiday Inn Kensington Forum

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

It was definitely a perfect hotel for us with staff who were most helpful and the location which was just what we wanted.
Cannot think of anything we did not like.

The location of the hotel was perfect! Extremely close to the underground transportation which made it very easy to get around London The staff was very helpful and friendly.
There was nothing to not like about the hotel

The location was great, right next to the Glouchester tube station.
The lobby was nice, but the hallways and rooms were dingy, old, and outdated. Not what I was expecting for a 4-star rated hotel.

Starbucks in the lobby, great location (2 minutes walk from Piccadilly line; shops and restaurants all over), paid wireless was fast, tasty room service and a small refrigerator which came in handy after a quick drop into Waitrose next door.
Room was very small, and hadn't been updated in a long time and the bathroom was the quality of a cabin on an overnight ferry. Great common areas but not four star rooms.

It is spacious, clean, has a friendly staff, and is very convenient to the Underground (zone 1), as well as pick-ups for day trips.
The shower water pressure was incredibly poor, but we didn't complain or they probably would have accommodated us with a different room. Elevators were often full for 6th floor patrons.

Breakfast was pricey, but good. We enjoyed the Pret across the street most mornings for a quick breakfast. High floors are best for the view and catching an elevator. Count on taking the stairs if you're on a lower floor and trying to leave 8-11am.

Close to underground, Easy to find, Although the room was small it was clean on arrival and cleaned when requested.
I expected a supposedly 4* to have complimentary wifi. I wouldn't rate the room as 4* it was small with no fridge and only 2 sachets of coffee,I was told the was £12.99 if i paid at reception or £14.99 at restaurant.

I'd recommend it for a tourist stay where your not in the hotel for long and you want somewhere close to the tube.
