Overall it was a good experience.

Hotel was beyond my expectations, and so close to the Conde, public telephones, half block from the post office, close to many good restaurants including late night Italian food and every coffee possible at Vuelta Arriba Cafe with good music. Taxi stand close by as well as shopping. My favorite art gallery owned and operated by Bettye Marshall is the Plaza Toledo, just around the corner, has original art as well as painted tiles, silver, jewelry, and pillowcases and purses with sequins ...

Hotel is located in a cute area of the city, Zona Colonial. Very close to restaurants and a pleasant park area. We stayed one night because we were on our way to Punta Cana the next day, but I would have loved to stay longer. The staff was warm, welcoming, and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with all we needed. Great location, great service!

Complimentary breakfast was simple but good. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. Close to many attractions and transport.
