The location was great and we really enjoyed the view. It was also very nice that we were given a late check out the next day. But I did feel that the hotel was overpriced. We paid over $400.00 for a nice room but to me it didn't seem quite worth it. I also thought that it included breakfast but that was not the case. The staff was friendly enough but it just didn't seem quite genuine. I am comparing the experience to the sky city grand where we also spent a night while in Auckland. The staff there really made an impression and they seemed to be more sincere. The Hilton staff seemed like they were doing their jobs, being nice to people who were spending money. Do not get me wrong, the Hilton is a very nice hotel and the room was definitely stellar but for some reason it just didn't feel as good to stay there. ...
