Hotel Guest Reviews of the Galileo Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The location is good, near the beaches and close to Allenby St.
There was some street noise given the proximity to a few bars, but nothing major. In general it was a clean and well-run establishment.

The nice staff, the rooftop terrace, the breakfast at the Love-eat cafe.
The bar downstairs is really noisy till well past midnight. Would not have been able to sleep without earplugs.

I was happy with the hotel and believe I received my money's worth.

Location, close to beach and trendy areas with the Carmel shuk nearby.
No elevator, hotel is small boutique so there is only one flight of stairs. Kids where a hassle for staff.

Small boutique, manager unfriendly when he heard we were bringing kids, made us pay cash. Other staff was more accommodating and brought a fold out bed for us. Staff was fluent in a multiple of languages.
