Essential information to help you plan your flight Business Class from Boston to Paris
Business-Class Flights from Boston to Paris
With its classical elegance and rich cultural heritage, France is a destination worth visiting at any time of the year. According to France’s official statistics on inbound travel, in 2024 alone, the country welcomed over 100 million international visitors. This record number proves that France is a destination that never gets old, as it has a lot of attractions and exclusive experiences to offer travelers. Also, U.S. travelers are among the top 5 nations visiting France in 2024.
So, planning a little getaway to Paris is always a good idea. But to fully enjoy everything this city can offer, you’ll need to arrive there well-rested and full of energy. You can do that if you choose to fly business class from Boston. If you travel business class, you can relax in a plush seat during the flight while sipping on champagne and enjoying restaurant-quality meals. Several airlines offer nonstop flights from Boston to Paris with excellent service, including JetBlue, which launched such flights on this route in 2024.
But how can you know which airline is perfect for you? In this guide, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know to book a business-class flight from Boston to Paris that will offer you the exclusive experience you’re looking for.
Planning Your Trip
If you plan on taking a trip to Paris, you have multiple options when it comes to departure cities in the United States. Generally, the most convenient flights to Paris depart from the East Coast, where the distance to your destination is shorter than the one from the Central U.S. or from the West Coast. Among the big international airports on the East Coast, you might consider departing from the Boston Logan International Airport. Boston is a great option because it’s not as crowded as other big airports on the East Coast, but it still offers nonstop flights operated by top airlines such as Air France or Delta.
Alternatively, you can pick the John F. Kennedy Airport in New York as a departure point, which offers more daily nonstop flights to Paris than the airport in Boston. But if you choose JFK as a departure point, you’ll have to deal with crowds of passengers while navigating the airport.
Another major airport on the East Coast you might consider when planning your trip to Paris is Washington, D.C. The Dulles International Airport is smaller and less crowded than JFK, but it offers a wide range of services for travelers seeking comfort and luxury. This is mainly because many business and diplomatic travelers choose to fly to or from this airport.
Boston–Paris
The Boston Logan International Airport is the closest airport to Paris in the United States. A direct flight from Boston will take you to Paris in only 7 hours. You can book such flights with Delta Air Lines, which offers them all year round. But since Paris is a destination that gets more popular among travelers during the summer, the prices for flights on the Boston-Paris route vary throughout the year. If you want to travel during the summer, you might consider booking your flight 4 or even 5 months in advance. In this case, most ticket prices start at $3,000 and usually reach $5,000. But if you’re up for a spontaneous trip and need a ticket less than a month in advance, you might have to pay as much as $9,000 for a round-trip flight.
If you’re not in a rush to get to Paris and wouldn’t mind a stop on the way there, you can choose a one-stop flight from Boston to Paris. For instance, if you book a flight with Icelandair, you’ll have a layover in Reykjavik, a stunning destination all year round. During your layover, you can visit Iceland’s famous geothermal spa, Blue Lagoon, which is located only 20 minutes from the airport. You can take a bus to the Blue Lagoon from outside the airport terminal and book your ticket online in advance. With Icelandair, your journey to Paris will take at least 10 hours. Tickets for one-stop flights with Icelandair usually cost from $2,600 to $3,500, depending on the demand for the dates you choose. The great news is that you can find great deals with Icelandair even if you need a ticket on short notice. In some cases, you may find flights for only $4,300 a few weeks before departure.
Alternative routes from the U.S.
New York–Paris
The John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York is where you’ll find the most options when searching for nonstop flights to Paris. As many airlines offering flights from this airport want to attract as many travelers as possible, they also offer enticing prices on their business-class flights. JetBlue is one of the airlines that offers nonstop flights from JFK to Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. Their Mint business class features private suites with sliding doors and meals inspired by some of New York’s best restaurants. The flight to Paris from New York is slightly longer than the one from Boston, taking about 8 hours. A round-trip business-class ticket with JetBlue may cost from $3,200 to $4,300, depending on the dates on which you travel and how early you book. A flight booked at the last minute may cost you $6,500 or even more.
If you’d like to add a stop in a European city to your trip, you might consider booking a flight operated by KLM, with a layover at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS). The AMS Airport is known for hosting a collection of Dutch artwork in the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam Schiphol, an extension of the famous Rijksmuseum, which you can visit during your layover. Besides, flying business class with KLM will bring you a special gift: a collectible Delft Blue house. And if you’re lucky, you might get one of the special edition KLM houses. The total duration of your trip depends on the length of your layover, but generally, you’ll get to Paris in at least 10 hours. If you book your ticket in advance, you might get it for as little as $3,700, although prices might reach $4,700 for dates that are in high demand. If you book a ticket just a week before departure, it may cost you up to $13,000.
Washington, D.C.–Paris
If you’d like to have many flight options to Paris but avoid huge crowds, like the ones at JFK, the IAD Airport in Washington, D.C., may be a good option for you.
United Airlines offers nonstop flights to Paris from IAD. United's business-class cabin, United Polaris, is considered one of the most comfortable among major airlines’ cabins on U.S.–Europe routes. During your 8-hour flight to Paris, you can rest in a comfortable lie-flat seat with high-end bedding and indulge in refined meals. If you book your flight in advance, you may have to pay from $3,500 to $6,500, depending on the demand for your travel dates.
If you don’t mind a layover, you can choose a one-stop flight with TAP Air Portugal, which includes a layover in Lisbon. Your journey to Paris will take at least 10 hours, but Lisbon is a destination worth the extra travel time. If you have a longer layover, you can exit the airport and explore the nearby Alfama district with its cobbled streets, historic landmarks, and panoramic views of the city. If you’re interested in Lisbon’s cultural heritage, you can even take a quick visit to the Jerónimos Monastery or the Belém Tower. Round-trip flights with TAP Air Portugal usually cost from $3,000 to $5,500, depending on how early you book.
Nonstop vs One-Stop Flights: Which Do You Choose?
Regardless of the departure city you pick from the ones we mentioned, you’ll have both nonstop and one-stop flight options. And while booking a nonstop flight might seem like the best option because it will get you to Paris as quickly as possible, one-stop flights are still worth considering. Having a layover in a city that you want to explore may be the perfect opportunity to make your journey more interesting and diverse. Besides, one-stop flights from Boston to Paris may save you $1,000 or even more on tickets. You’ll notice the price differences if you travel during the low-demand season or book your ticket a few months in advance.
Choosing the Best Airline
If you want to travel from Boston to Paris, there are many airlines for you to choose from. Among them, you’ll find Air France, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, JetBlue, Icelandair, TAP Portugal, SWISS, Aer Lingus, Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa, and many more.
Out of these, Air France offers nonstop flights to Paris, and Delta and JetBlue offer both nonstop and layover options. While Air France and Delta offer more high-end services before departure, JetBlue is still an option worth considering, as it offers a comfortable flight experience for a great price.
Air France
Lounge access: If you fly business class with Air France, you’ll get access to multiple lounges at the Boston Airport before departure. You’ll be able to access Air France’s lounge and 3 Delta Sky Club lounges, as Delta is Air France’s partner airline.
You’ll find the Air France Lounge in Terminal E, near Gate 4. Although it’s not very big, this lounge offers you a relaxed place to rest and take a bite before your flight. Some of the popular dishes among the travelers who visited this lounge are ziti with meatballs and creamy potato gratin. The dessert bar features some French options, like macarons and madeleines. Besides, you’ll get free Wi-Fi inside the lounge.
Alternatively, you can access one of the Delta Sky Club Lounges. All of them feature self-serve buffets and full-service bars. And if you’d like to freshen up before the flight, you can access the Delta Sky Club in the International Terminal, near Gate E13, or the one in the Satellite Concourse, near Gate A18, for a quick shower.
Seats: Air France usually operates Airbus A350 planes for flights between Boston and Paris. The business-class cabins on such planes have a 1-2-1 seating layout with fully lie-flat beds. According to travelers, the seats, known as the Zodiac Optima model, are very comfortable and are perfect for getting some sleep during the flight. Some travelers stated that the seats are comparable to the United Polaris ones, comfort-wise. The newer cabins on the Airbus A350 also include sliding doors that will offer you as much privacy as possible during the flight.
In-flight dining: During your flight to Paris, you’ll get to choose a multi-course meal inspired by French cuisine. For long-haul flights from the U.S., the menu is curated by Michelin-starred chef Dominique Crenn. Some of the dishes you may have as options for your flight are foie gras, duck confit, and fine cheeses. Air France’s menu changes seasonally, so you may discover new dishes even if you travel twice with them on the same route.
Frequent-flyer program: If you fly with Air France, it might be a good idea to sign up for their loyalty program, Flying Blue. As a member, you can earn and spend miles not only on flights with Air France but also on flights with their partner airlines. Depending on your status within the program, you’ll earn a certain number of miles for each euro spent. For instance, if you’re a standard member, you’ll earn 4 miles for each euro you spend on tickets with Air France. Thus, if you buy a business-class ticket to Paris for €4,000 ($4,300), you will get 16,000 miles that you can save and use later to book flights, upgrade from one booking class to another, or pay for other Air France services. If you wish to buy an award business-class ticket from the U.S. to Europe, you’ll need at least 50,000 miles one-way.
Prices:A round-trip business-class ticket from Boston to Paris with Air France usually costs from $3,200 to $6,000. The prices vary from season to season, with summer tickets often reaching the higher end of the range. And if you need to book a flight only 1-2 weeks before departure, ticket prices may rise to $10,000 or even more.
Air France is an excellent option if you want to dive into the French experience before you even land in Paris.
United Airlines
Lounge Access: If you travel business class with United, you’ll get access to two lounges before departure at Boston International Airport. These are the United Club Lounge and the Lufthansa Lounge.
The United Club Lounge is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax before your flight. It offers comfortable seating, free Wi-Fi, and a self-serve buffet with healthy snacks and sandwiches. The lounge also has an area with workstations and printers, which might be useful in case you need to catch up on work.
If you choose the Lufthansa Lounge, you’ll get a more luxurious pre-flight experience. The food selection here is more upscale compared to the one provided by United and includes both hot and cold dishes. You’ll also be able to taste some German beers and fine wines here. Moreover, they have an espresso bar for coffee lovers. Also, you’ll get Wi-Fi access in this lounge.
Seats: United usually operates Boeing 777 planes on this route, which feature the Polaris business class. This cabin has a 1-2-1 configuration, with all the seats extending into flat beds. The Polaris seats also have dividers between the seats, which will help you get more privacy and feel more comfortable during the flight.
In-flight dining: During your flight with United, you’ll get to enjoy a multi-course meal. Some of United’s signature meals you might encounter are seared beef short ribs, wild mushroom risotto, and roasted chicken. Also, United offers a signature ice cream sundae on long-haul flights, which has become a favorite among travelers.
Frequent-flyer program: United's MileagePlus program can be a great opportunity for you to earn miles whenever you travel with United. The number of miles you earn for a flight is based on the price of your ticket and your status. Later, you can use miles to pay for award flights or other services. For example, to buy a one-way business-class award ticket to Europe, you will need at least 60,000 miles.
Prices: The prices of United’s business-class tickets from Boston to Paris usually range between $3,200 and $7,500, depending on the season. If you book a ticket only a week or two before departure, you might see prices rise to $9,000 or even higher. If you book early, let’s say 3-4 months in advance, you can get a better price. Generally, United has quite consistent pricing, which means that during the low-demand season, you can get a ticket for a good price even on short notice.
A flight with United is perfect for you if you want to travel comfortably and rest well before you arrive in Paris.
JetBlue
Lounge access: JetBlue should open its first lounge in Terminal C of the Boston International Airport at the end of 2025. According to the airline’s official statement, this lounge will span over 11,000 square feet, which means it’ll be bigger than the JetBlue lounge at JFK. Inside the lounge, you’ll find a wide selection of food and beverages, including barista-made coffee and craft cocktails. The lounge should also include private workspaces and free Wi-Fi.
Until then, you won’t be able to access any airline-owned lounges at the BOS airport, since JetBlue is not part of any major alliance. However, if you have a Platinum American Express Card, you can access the American Express Centurion Lounge. The Centurion Lounge is an excellent alternative to airline-owned lounges, as it offers you comfortable seating, gourmet food options, and quiet areas where you can relax before your flight.
Seats: JetBlue’s Mint business class has a unique layout, as it features two different types of seats: Mint Suites in a 1-1 configuration and flatbed seats in a 2-2 configuration. The flatbeds have partitions that you can use to get as much privacy as possible during the flight, and the Mint Suites have sliding doors that offer you the convenience of having the entire space to yourself. You’ll find the JetBlue Mint business class on their Airbus A321 planes, which they operate on flights from Boston to Paris.
In-flight dining: JetBlue offers seasonal, themed menus in business class. Often, the meals you’ll be able to choose from will be inspired by Mediterranean cuisine. For instance, some of their dishes that travelers enjoyed are chicory salad, baked rigatoni, and Milanese chicken. On top of that, as part of one of their seasonal menus, JetBlue even served authentic Italian gelato. During the flight, you’ll also get to choose your preferred beverage from a variety of craft cocktails and top-tier wines.
Frequent-flyer program: Like many other airlines, JetBlue also has a loyalty program. The TrueBlue program offers you 3 points per dollar on business-class tickets, but you can earn 6 points per dollar if you have the elite member status. You can use these points for flights, upgrades, and other rewards. To buy a business-class flight, you might need at least 60,000 points for a one-way ticket to Europe.
Prices: JetBlue’s Mint business-class tickets for flights from Boston to Paris typically cost from $3,000 to $6,000. If you need a ticket at the last minute, the price will be higher, reaching $7,000 or even more.
JetBlue is a fantastic option if you want to travel in a secluded suite and indulge in Mediterranean-inspired dining during the flight.
Arriving in Paris
Out of the three international airports located close to Paris, only Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and Orly Airport serve long-haul flights arriving from Boston. Although they’re both relatively close to the city, your arrival experience will be quite different at each airport.
Charles de Gaulle (CDG) is the main and largest airport near Paris. Thus, most flights from Boston that you can find online have CDG as a destination. In fact, only CDG receives nonstop flights from Boston. But since it’s a huge airport, you’ll have to deal with crowds of travelers while navigating it after arrival. This may feel slightly inconvenient if it’s your first time there or if you’re in a hurry to get to the city as soon as possible. Getting to the city from CDG is quite easy, as it’s located only 30 km (18.6 miles) from Paris, and there are multiple transportation options to take you there.
Also, as a business-class traveler, you might be eligible for accessing the fast lanes at CDG, which will allow you to go through immigration and security checks without having to wait in long lines. If you’re eligible for these services, you’ll receive a voucher from your airline. Even before you book your ticket, you can contact them to check whether you’ll have access to fast lanes.
If you choose a flight that has Orly (ORY) as an arrival point, you might save some time after landing. This is because Orly is smaller than CDG and, thus, is easier to navigate. Moreover, it receives fewer flights than CDG, which means it’s less crowded. In some cases, going through the arrival procedures might take you only 30 minutes. On top of that, Orly is even closer to the city than CDG — it’s only 13 km (8 miles) away.
Priority Baggage Handling
As a business-class traveler, you will most likely be eligible for priority baggage handling at CDG and ORY. This means that, before departure, a priority sticker will be put on your luggage so that, upon arrival, it is unloaded and delivered to the luggage carousel first. This service is usually included in business-class tickets, but you can also check with your airline before booking. Priority baggage handling may save you quite some time at the airport, as your luggage might get delivered in only 5-10 minutes after you arrive in the baggage claim zone.
Getting to Paris
Whether you choose Charles de Gaulle or Orly as your arrival airport, you’ll have multiple transport options to choose from after arrival.
Getting from Charles de Gaulle International Airport (CDG) to Paris
Private transfer
Private transfer services are generally considered the most comfortable option. A driver will meet you inside the airport, carry your luggage to the car, and then drive you to the city. During your ride to Paris, you can enjoy some refreshments and browse the web using the in-car Wi-Fi.
- Availability: The only way you can take advantage of these services is if you pre-book them online.
- Travel time: Your driver will take you to the city in 45 to 60 minutes, depending on how heavy the traffic is.
- Cost: Basic private transfer services cost €70 ($76), but prices may be as high as €150 ($163) if you choose a more luxurious car or add some extra services to your order.
This option is perfect if you want the most worry-free experience on your way from CDG to Paris.
Taxi
Taxis are also a good option, especially if you don’t want to use public transport or book transfer services in advance.
- Availability: There are dedicated taxi ranks outside each terminal of CDG. To get to them, all you need to do is follow the “Taxi” signs inside the terminal. Although there are usually many taxis available, it might be more complicated to find one during peak arrival hours.
- Travel time: A taxi will take you to the center of Paris in 45 to 60 minutes, depending on traffic.
- Cost: Taxis from CDG operate based on fixed rates. If you need to get to the Right Bank of the Seine, you’ll pay €56 ($61). If you need to get to the Left Bank, you’ll pay €65 ($71).
Taking a taxi may be the perfect option for you if you have heavy luggage but don’t want to book a private transfer in advance.
Uber
Uber is a convenient alternative to taxis. The main difference between the two is that you have to use the Uber app to catch a ride, and you have all the details of your Uber trip, including the destination address and cost, on your phone.
- Availability: After you secure a ride using the Uber app, you’ll need to head to the Uber pick-up zone indicated on the app.
- Travel time: An Uber ride to the center of Paris will take from 45 to 60 minutes, depending on traffic.
- Cost: The prices for Uber rides depend on the demand and the time of day, but they generally vary from €50 to €80 ($52–$82).
If you prefer using an app to catch a ride and paying via a credit card, Uber is the perfect option for you.
RER B train
The RER B train is a public transport option that will take you from CDG directly to the center of Paris.
- Availability: Trains from the CDG train station in Terminal 2 depart every 10 to 15 minutes.
- Travel time: Trains usually run without delays and reach the central stations of Paris, like Gare du Nord or Saint-Michel, in 30-35 minutes.
- Cost: A one-way ticket to Paris costs €11.80 ($13).
The RER B train may be a convenient option if you don’t carry a lot of luggage and want to get to the city fast.
Airport shuttle services
Shuttles are transfer services with predefined routes. In some cases, they only take travelers to a certain hotel, but often, they have multiple stops at different hotels around the city.
- Availability: If you want to make sure you’ll catch a seat on a shuttle, you can book the services online in advance. Alternatively, you can pay for them directly at the airport.
- Travel time: Depending on the shuttle’s route and how many stops it includes, your ride from the airport to the hotel may take from 60 to 90 minutes.

Travel Tips for Business-Class Travelers
Flying business class can be a great start to your trip to Paris. If you fly business class, you can enjoy several luxurious services and amenities, including priority boarding services, access to exclusive airport lounges, and delicious meals served during the flight. And, contrary to what many people may think, you don’t have to break the bank to get this high-end experience.
If you use the right tricks and booking strategies, you can find great deals on business-class flights. In this section, we’ll show you what exactly you can do to make the most out of your trip while keeping the expenses under control.
1. Book your flight at the right time.
As you might’ve noticed throughout this guide, booking in advance is one of the most important tips when it comes to getting a good deal on a business-class flight. For flights from Boston to Paris, you’ll find the best ticket prices 3 to 6 months in advance. Of course, prices fluctuate based on ticket demand, so if you plan on traveling during the peak seasons, it’s better to book your flight as early as possible.
Also, you might want to consider traveling outside peak seasons. During the summer and winter holidays, Paris is extremely popular among travelers, which makes the prices go up significantly. The shoulder seasons, April to early June and September to early November, may offer you much better prices on business-class tickets and a crowd-free trip around Paris. The ticket prices may be 20% or even 30% lower compared to peak seasons.
2. Consider booking a flight with a layover.
Nonstop flights from Boston to Paris are generally the most convenient and comfortable, but they also tend to be more expensive. While the prices of nonstop business-class flights to Paris may range from $3,000 to $10,000, a flight with a layover in Lisbon, Amsterdam, or London may save you 10-30% on tickets.
3. Contact an online travel agency to find exclusive deals.
It might seem easy to book a flight on your own, but the truth is that online, you won’t see all the available flight options. This is because airlines often offer travel agencies exclusive deals that aren’t published anywhere else. Thus, if you contact an online travel agency, such as Priceline, they can help you find highly discounted business-class tickets on flights from Boston to Paris. Besides, you’ll be spared the time-consuming process of searching for and comparing flights, since a travel agent will do that for you. This way, you can save both time and money.
4. While in Paris, continue to travel comfortably.
During your stay in Paris, it’s a good idea to use the Paris Metro for easy access to top attractions such as the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. The trains will save you time while getting from one part of the city to another, and you won’t even have to compromise on comfort. You can book a first-class metro ticket and enjoy the ride through Paris.
