Hotel Guest Reviews of the Eagle Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

WONDERFUL! We liked everything about this place. Our cottage room was nestled in a tree lined neighborhood. We had a beautifully decorated room with our own balcony patio with table and chairs. A large bath and shower. A separate jacuzzi tub with rose petals, champagne glasses and chocolates. A mini fridge with Keurig coffee maker and breakfast delivered to our room. All for a reasonable price. We stayed one night and came back thru SB on our way home to stay again. As returning guests we were given the same cottage room with a discount! Great service. Very clean and very pretty. ...read more

The staff is great! My daughter's flight into Santa Barbara was cancelled and she had to fly into Burbank. The desk clerk printed out directions from the inn to the airport since I was not familiar with the route. The breakfasts were delicious.

This is a charming bed and breakfast. It is an old Spanish style structure but has been remodeled and updated. It is just a couple of blocks from the harbor and the pier. A great area to take a walk or jog.

Staff very friendly and within walking distance of the beach.
Not a lot of parking, it is in a residential area. but it was fine.

I love the atmosphere of a B&B and I highly recommend it.

Bungalow with jacuzzi tub in room as well as small kitchen with refrigerator and microwave.
The TV kept turning off occasionally but it was not continuous.

The Eagle Inn is cobbled together from some converted residences and works great as a residential hotel. It is only 3 blocks to Cabrillo Blvd which runs right along the beach. It's only 1/2 mile from the pier and all the shops and restaurants on State Street where there is a free shuttle service provided by the City. The bed was comfortable and our room (the San Miguel...all rooms are named after the Channel Islands) was generously sized. There is a very healthy breakfast included in the rate which can be delivered to your room each morning if you so elect. ...read more

The breakfast was wonderful.

I highly recommend The Eagle Inn. A small inn located in a quiet neighborhood close to beach, wharf and the restaurants on State St. The clerk who greeted us was friendly, efficient and gave a great suggestion for dinner (Brophy Bros). We had reserved a queen room but as none were available upon checkin we were upgraded to a king deluxe - a large, immaculate, beautiful room with a balcony and wall/gas fireplace that gave a nice ambiance. The free breakfast was amazing: fresh fruit, egg/asparagus casserole, english muffin and coffee/tea/juice. Yogurt with homemade granola was a lighter option. Wished we were staying more than one night. Will definitely return. ...read more

Friendly staff, good breakfast.
Room was not as pretty as pictured, could use some updates.

The hotel itself is a beautiful, older building. The staff is very welcoming, and they have out coffee and refreshments as you walk in. Our room was a little less than desirable tucked away by the staff desk, and not updated like the other rooms appeared to be. The continental breakfast was nice, with table service.
