Hotel Guest Reviews of the Doubletree Fort Lee/George Washington Bridge

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The room was fairly updated, probably in the last ten years and staff were pleasant enough. Other than that, not much. IF you only wanted to use the hotel as an entrance ramp to the GW bridge, then it would be a good option.
The room we were in had a leaky tub, so it dripped all night. The beds are worn out (really soft) and it's location, immediately on the highway, is pretty bad.

Because the hotel is literally on the highway, you cannot walk to anything. While there is a Starbucks a few doors down, there is no sidewalk to use to get there. You'd be taking your life in your hands to walk anywhere from the hotel. Our room was okay, although part of the window was blacked out and, as noted earlier, the tub dripped all night long. The hotel is fine, but its simply not a 3.5 star, as billed. Maybe a 2.5? ...read more
