Had HBO, fast hot water.
No pillow cases, no fire alarm, exposed wiring and light fixture in the bathroom. broken furniture looked overall dirty and run down.

parked in front of office, room right above the office okay clean, but did not feel safe in this place, very sketchy area. Staff was friendly.

What I liked about the Day's inn is there was free breakfast
What I didn't like was there was roaches and bugs in my room. Blankets were ruff and itchy.

The xtaff was friendly.It was under construction and should not have accepted bookings especially for certain rooms like the one I was given.
I was given a room that had a broken air conditioner. I I had to walk to front desk at 11:30 pm to report it because there was no phone in the room. The next morning, the door knob shattered when I tried to open the door to leave the room.

Someone knocked on the door, presumably one of the cleaning staff and I yelled asking them to pls help me get out. I waited another 5 min and no one came back. I was screaming for help but no one cam. I was panicking and and wondering what I would do if there was a fire. I took pieces of the broken door knob and fit them together somehow and was able to finally get the door open. When I told the manager his first response was to ask me if someone had kicked the door. I was so appalled. At some point while loading my stuff the mgr came over to let me know he had advised the owner of my experience and wanted to offer me 40% off my next visit and would only be charged approx.--- I told him I paid--- for this room and there was no way I would pay---- too stay there again. Since that experience I have bad dreams about being trapped. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels all over the world and can chalk my stay at the Rates Inn as one of, if not the worst experiences. ...read more

I have been using priceline for almost 10 years. I have a credit card as well and have recommended priceline to all my friends. I however am extremely dissapointed in this pass experience with priceline. I booked this hotel thru express deals and as always, trusted priceline to give me a hotel that is in respectful condition. This hotel was no where near safe nor in a condition to even stay. My fiancé and i tried to tell Priceline if we could possibly change our itinerary or cancel. Not only was there a denial on both but also we were without a place to stay and we were forced to book another hotel thru a more promising website. I have photos and videos and recordings of this whole incident as well a many other people who were at this hotel. I would appreciate if someone would contact me as I'd like to explain that for your future business this place is no where near your customer based expectations. The room being non-smoking (or you will be fined) smelled bad, the pillows were laid on top of bed sheet and looked all wrinkled as if someone had been sleeping on them, could not imagine laying in the bed, room was on second floor and someone pacing back and forth arguing on cell phone. Didn't feel safe leaving vehicle in parking lot.

Priceline did not send my reservation, so hotel put us in a room with no TV. No big deal, we had business in the area and were too busy but when we checked in the "free wifi" was down. We were told that it would be fixed, never was. Parking in the lot was bad too, if you got in after 7pm you barely got a spot! We paid for 5 nights and only stayed for 2 and the hotel manager was "so kind" as to give us a refund and we found our own place to stay!
