Hotel Guest Reviews of the Comfort Inn Brooklyn Cruise Terminal

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

They had a shuttle to the train station
The lady at the front desk on checkin day was rude and full of attitude. Gave us the wrong room and no apologies only to tell us we don't have any other option. On the poor internet reception she told us to just keep trying there is nothing they can do.

The hotel tries to accommodate you with free transport to the subway until 7pm. Also, they have toiletries at the desk if you forgot something and the waffle maker was pretty good too.
The location is terrible. You are literally right next to the highway and if you walk in the opposite direction you are in the projects. Don't walk around after dark if you catch my drift.

It takes a very long time to walk to the subway and it's a little iffy after dark but once you start back to the hotel it is actually nice. The room was clean and larger than usual for NY.

Great location. Nice staff.
Slow elevator....Would have been nice to have a microwave in the room or eight and a small refrigerator or at least on the floor

The guy working in the restuarant was very hard working, polite and courteous. The hotels policy of paying the cab's fee for for people venturing out to the subway. This is very good and relieving for those without any source of transport.
Just the location. Difficult to locate.

The stay was very comfortable and peaceful. I really enjoyed the breakfast in the mornings. There was never a crowded moment and plenty of fresh fruits, yogurts, boiled eggs, sausages, waffle batter, cereal, OJ and apple juice, toast, butter, and milk.
I wish the cleaning crew would have been more thorough with their jobs like making up the beds and throwing away trash.

There is ample available parking, but if you can't find a space, you can find a space somewhere around the premises without catching a ticket. The elevators do take a while, but you can always walk up the stairs. The laundry facility is nice and there is a basic fitness room. If you order food, you have to go into the lobby and pay the delivery guy, there is a 24 hour diner called sunset park diner that delivers good food. All in all I am pleased. ...read more
