Hotel Guest Reviews of the City Club Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

location
I booked two double-beds room, while the front desk gave me single double bed with a side bed room saying there was no double-beds room left.

the location was great!

It is close to Time Square, Grand Central Station, subways and the Empire State Building. It was a quick walk down to Hudson bay where I took a ferry to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. The staff was very friendly and informative. The room was very comfortable. If I ever go to New York again I will stay here.

Great location. It was easy to find and walking distance to the main attractions and a taxi drive away from everything else.
I could smell food in my room which I think came from the restaurant below or from the courtyard area that my window was facing.

I enjoyed my stay at City Club. It's centrally located to all the main attractions (walking distance to 5th Avenue, Rockefeller, Times Square, Radio City, Bryant Park...) and besides the taxi trip to and from LaGuardia Airport (about $40), everything was about a $7-$10 taxi drive-away (Chelsea, Meatpacking District...). The bed was extremely comfortable, room is small but good size for a couple, bathroom was spacious and rich in design (loved that they had Bigelow brands for the shampoo, lotion...), the front desk staff was helpful and considering the location, the room was very quiet. ...read more

The rooms were a little small, but the bathrooms were amazing!
There wasn't much of a lobby, but the staff was amazing!

Very charming and nice!
No it was great

We had a fabulous time! Nice room and were very pleased with the service and location! Right in the middle of Times Square and Rockefeller center! They had cookies on our bed every night and loved the little touches like the shampoo and conditioner, the cute burlap bag on the door with the paper in it every morning so fun! If you are taking kids and book on Priceline you might want to call right away if you have a petit room and make sure you get a roll away or upgrade to a little bigger room! It's a fabulous hotel ...read more

Location, decent room.
Windows facing a brick wall, lack of hotel amenities.

The City Club Hotel is a decent NYC boutique hotel in an excellent midtown location close to everything. Since this is a boutique hotel, the hotel's amenities are limited and the interior rooms view a brick wall, but I'm not in NYC for he hotel amenities or the view. The room was a good size with a nice oversized shower and bathroom with bidet. He too is also nicely appointed with flat sceeeem tv, iPhone clock radio, etc. there was a lack of else electrical outlets, which is a deficiency these days. ...read more

Great location. Although small, it met every need.
No

I have stayed at hotels before using Priceline and felt I was treated poorly because of the lower rate that I paid. When I checked in they said Priceline rate only guarantees a single room. They upgraded my room. It was a very nice hotel and I will certainly stay there again.

TV not working one night and next morning. Staff blamed it on Time Warner. Kind of a bummer.

Nice place in good location for my needs this trip.

Great location, very nice staff, no waits for checking in or out, just very easy. And cookies were waiting for me when I first got to the room.
