Hotel Guest Reviews of the Chi Residences 279

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Veery helpful friendly staff. Close to subway and convenience stores. Huge shower. Very comfy bed.
Not the best neighborhood. Not bad but only ok.

Very close to the subway. Large (by HK standards) room. Great shower. Great bed. Great staff. Overall highly recommended.

The layout of the room was really lovely and a great usage of space. The staff is extremely kind and helpful.

The space is really unique, especially in a place like Hong Kong. It is especially great if you are planning on staying for an extended period with the kitchen, but supercomfortable even if for a few nights. The shower pressure is amazing and the bathroom is huge! Just steps away is the Temple Night Market, which I could see from my windows, but couldn't hear. It is a short walk to the Yau Ma Tei MRT station, close to the Jade Market and just easy to access Tsim Sa Shui, as well as Mong Kok, and even Hong Kong (only four stops from Central). ...read more

Big room for Asia.
A lot of $ for the area the hotel was in.

I really like the hotel (actually, condos). From a privacy standpoint, it was great. There are only (2) condos to a floor, so you rarely hear or bump into anything. Actually, it might be a little too private, I rarely saw anyone. There are no facilities to eat at, but you do have a laundry unit at the top of the building (hint, as the staff to give you a business card to the laundry place around the corner, they are very cheap and will deliver the clothes back to your room). All in all, I would stay here again because I felt like I was living with the locals. Each day, I could see everyone living their everyday lives, which I actually found interesting, (as I opposed to staying at a 5 star hotel, which you probably won't be in an area to be mixed with the locals. Staying at this hotel allowed me to see the location food places, drink stations, etc. (in fact, I went to this tiny hole in the wall restaurant and the food was outstanding, right around the corner from the hotel - they serve mostly seafood, etc. - you can find it at Wing and Temple Street, right next to the night market). This place is highly recommended. I do need to add that they need to add sound proofing to the windows, because even though I was high up, the traffic and street noise was very loud.
