Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western Plus The Tuscan

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Nice quiet rooms.
Rooms were a little small. Parking is $50/night. (Both normal for Fisherman's Wharf area.)

Location is PERFECT. The are associated with 24 hour fitness which is right next door and you get full use of the gym during your stay. The restaurant located at the hotel is very good! Also, they do serve complimentary wine.
Parking is crazy expensive. $50 per night to park at the hotel. You can park across the street but you do not have in and our privileges that cost $30 per night.

This is one of the very nicest Best Western hotels you will ever find.

location was great, 3 minute walk to pier 39
The room was very small and looked out at a small courtyard and other rooms.

Location is central to the wharf district, bus tours, lots to do and see within walking distance. Staff responsive and friendly.
Parking (extra charge) is expensive and I found better rates including parking available elsewhere. Room was advertised as including king bed plus sofa bed, correct but once sofa bed extended it was touching bed and blocking access to rest of room.

They served free coffee & tea in the morning and they had free wine every day from 5 pm to 6 pm.Excellen breakfast at Darren's Cafe around the corner from the hotel. Close distance to Pier 39 and a short walk to the city tour bus by the pier.
Bathroom was a little small and I didn't like the layout of the room.No breakfast buffet options. No free breakfast included with the room.Parking is $50 a night. Valet only.
