Hotel Guest Reviews of the Bangkok Hotel Lotus Sukhumvit

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location was fantastic
Information regarding tours and places to visit was not very clear

The location was very convenient. Sky train was just 5 mins walk away. Staff was very friendly. Since we were on honeymoon they upgraded our room. 7/11 was just around the corner. Overall a good experience.

Rooms are OK, but location is useless.
Location is not worth recommending.

The hotel is very old, definitely not 4-star. No free wi-fi.

The room is big and clean but very old.

The bakery had good pain au chocolats
The room was filthy, there were stains on the carpet

The hotel is dark, dingy and unclean. The floor of the room was filthy, there were stains in the bathroom and there were crumbs on the floor. The bed was a king sized bed which was really two double beds pushed together that weren't the same height. The pillows smelled bad. It was an awful experience and gives me the shivers when I think about it. Four stars? no way! Maybe in the SIZE of the room but that's about all. Also very few power plugs to recharge phones, ipads and computers! ...read more

The lobby was O.K.
The gave me a terrible room then tried to upgrade me with high charges.

This hotel was a bait and switch - they put us in a 2 star room and when we complained they offered to upgrade at a significant upgrade charge like $50 USD per night and then delivered a roll in bed because that room only had a queen size bed instead of a king size that was promised and the bed they brought in was full of bugs - yes bugs - and they were not at all interested in correcting the problem unless we paid an upgrade charge which I finally did for the 2nd night because I had no choice. ...read more

Location
Old furniture, Old TV, small bed

It was a bit disspointing; concierge had absolutely no idea about anything in the area.
