Guests savor beachfront views and cool off in two outdoor pools at the Banana Beach Resort, which is on the white sands of Mar de Tumbo Beach in Belize.
The three-story Banana Beach Resort features a hacienda-style exterior that gives way to 66 non-smoking accommodations, ranging from single rooms to suites with full kitchens. All rooms are outfitted with tile floors, rattan furniture, cable TV, internet access and hairdryers. A daily continental breakfast is served with restrictions. The central courtyard houses two outdoor pools. After unwinding with a treatment at the Massage Hut, guests dine at the on-site steakhouse, where a tequila menu adds to the fun. Smoking is allowed outside, and parking is available. NOTE: Additional per-guest fees will be assessed for more than two people in a room.
Off the coast of mainland Belize, Banana Beach Resort sits directly on Ambergris Caye's Mar de Tumbo Beach. It's a mile-and-a-half from San Pedro, where you'll find an array of shopping and dining options. Divers and snorkelers head to the Hol Chan Marine Reserve, two miles away. A 45-minute boat ride lands guests at Caye Caulker or the Great Blue Hole at Lighthouse Reef. The ferry to the mainland and San Pedro Airport is about a mile away.
In addition to a gorgeous beachfront location, the Banana Beach Resort puts guests at ease with its casual tropical decor, on-site restaurant and massage services.
