Hotel Guest Reviews of the Ballys Las Vegas

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Rooms were clean and comfortable.
There was a Resort charge of $20 assessed per day that was not mentioned at time of booking. Each device was charged separately for internet access. Public areas were full of smoke and smoke smell.

Everything. The location is awesome and you are steps away from anywhere on the Strip.
Nothing. They were great!

Everything was great! Staff was helpful and really nice. They were very helpful when Priceline messed up my reservation and worked hard to solve my problem as fast as they could. My room was brand new and very very comfortable. The coffee shop downstairs is awesome too.

the staff. Denis, the guy who checked me in was very helpful.
The weird layout. The check in line.

The check in line was pretty ridiculous but at least they were quick. Dennis, the guy who checked me in was nice and even though I did not opt for an upgrade to the recently renovated north tower he upgraded me anyway in the south tower which included a king bed a huge bathroom. My daughter loved it and my husband enjoyed playing with the bidet. Kids. It was of course dated since they did not renovate it as of yet. The layout was a little weird. The entrance and lobby are right off the casino. Which I noticed is a common layout for most hotels on the strip. It was difficult to find the pool. FYI it's in the lower level... Far from any of the rooms but closest to the north tower. It's near the monorail in this hotel. I guess I'm saying its difficult to navigate. The casino was not as good as I hoped. Gamblers...the machines are pretty tight here and the variety of old and new games aren't as good as some of the other hotel casinos. But if you like table games you're set. ...read more

The location in the middle of the strip was very convenient.
The noise from the Paris night club was extremely loud in the room until 3AM. But I guess this is Vegas....

The location is great. The first floor is a mess, but I guess the design is on purpose to get you to walk through all the gambling options on your way to registration and the room. The feeling is just too croweded and noisy. We checked in at 4PM and had to wait in line for 30 minutes to get the room. We ate at Nosh for breakfast and it was actually good. The express check out was convenient. The room was really old in terms of furnishings but was really large with plenty of sink space. The shower should be retiled or probably redone completely. But we didn't spend much time in the room so its not a big deal as it is extremely affordable compared to the neighboring hotels. ...read more
