Overall, the hotel was ok. It's not quite what I expected, particularly for a fairly new place. But overall it was fine.

Parking is a mess but I believe they are building more spots as we "speak"

A previous guest mentioned that he stayed on the 2nd floor and barely slept because of the bar in the lobby which stays open till 12-1 a.m.. I also struggled with the noise, but I was on the 4th floor! If you're using the hotel to get a good night's sleep, good luck! They also turn the music back on early in the morning during breakfast (around 8:30 am) which also woke me up. Parking was really bad. The lot is not big enough for all hotel guests and visitors, so you have to use the valet (although it's free). Nevertheless, if you need to come and go from the hotel more than once on a busy night, you will spend lots of time waiting for the valet to run around moving cars. This hotel really needs to rethink it's status. It's definitely a "hip" place to be and fits into the Miami night scene. They deny being a "nightclub," but that's not fair. It looks and feels like a nightclub. I couldn't use the pool at night because it was closed for a private party. For these reasons, I don't think the hotel deserves its 3-star rating. Yes, the furnishings are nice, modern and the staff was helpful, but that doesn't protect the average guest from being subjected to noise and parking hassles due to the bar being open to the public. The maintenance guy did fix my TV very quickly. It needed to be reset for reception, so I appreciated his help. However, it's kind of weird to think that almost all guests watch TV, so when was the last time they rented this room?! I did notice that the manager took the time to respond to all online complaints from other guests. However, it seems that all he did was apologize. If he offered some kind of compensation, that would be a lot better. Otherwise, I probably won't go back there, except maybe as a local person to eat the excellent breakfast. ...

Besides the above comment about public areas, the hotel is excellent in every way.
