Hotel Guest Reviews of the Zinn Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The hotel was horrible, no clean sheets, and i will never stay there.

Will never recommend anyone to stay at this location.

The staff -- particularly the maintenance man were all friendly. The rooms were non-smoking, and the pool was clean.
The police were there every day of my stay, including the day someone died in their hotel room. The hotel feels like you are in "Boys in the Hood" as it is very ghetto. There were no towels or toilet paper in the room upon check-in. The Wi-Fi didn't work

Despite it being a one-star hotel; the reviews I previously saw made it seem that it would be a decent place to stay for the last-minute few days I had to have a hotel room. The MAIN reason that I went ahead and booked this room was price AND BECAUSE IT HAD WI-FI -- however, the Wi-Fi did not work and they did nothing to assist me -- not a good thing when needing to do work while traveling as I spent 3 days at a Starbucks over 2 miles away in order to get work done. Most of the guests seem to "live" in the hotel. There were rooms in which I saw over 10 people leaving the room at different times. As previously stated, the police were on-site at least once every day that I was there and I was only at the hotel at night due to the need to go elsewhere to work...and, the first night of my stay I had people shouting obscenities and yelling and screaming to get out of someone's room (right next door to mine); and when I complained about this and the lack of Wi-Fi and requested a refund so I could move to a different hotel, I was told that would NOT be possible; and so I stuck it out. They do not provide daily housekeeping service nor provide you with clean towels nor toilet paper upon check-in or daily unless you go to the front desk and ask for it. I was thoroughly disappointed and would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone UNLESS you are open to being in a 'ghetto' environment and just need a relatively clean place to lay your head. ...read more

Nothing, I was disgusted.
Overpriced, ---/night, for a decaying fixer-upper. Glitchy room locks, dirty and musty, windows sealed open, traffic and room noise, rattling loud air conditioning unit, broken soda machine, lousy coffee and no food service, begging vagrants out front.

Spend $20 more and stay 3 blocks south in the landscaped, secure, renovated area of shops and nice hotels. Or try the Hotel Deauville, a lovely hostel / hotel in Ft. Lauderdale.

The two hotel cats that lived in the courtyard.
-Unsafe area, door didn't lock properly when exiting room -front desk clerk spoke NO English, Spanish or French -Rooms were dirty, unsanitary, windows provided NO sound proofing -ice machine violated many health codes -pool was not "heated"

Garbage bin in room was covered in stains and grim. We had to ask for more towels as we were only supplied with 2 towels for a room with 2 double bed. We thought we were getting a "kitchenette" but we had only a mini fridge and a bunch of old dirty pots, pans and a nasty toaster shoved in the linen drawers. The area was unsafe. Reprobates walking up and down the street along with addicts. The parking was not monitor and we were not asked for our car or licence plate number. ...read more
