Hotel Guest Reviews of the Wyndham Grand Desert
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 1, 2013

I attended a conference at the MGM. This hotel was right across the street so I didn't drive at all while staying there. Super convenient and I hope it's available next April for our annual conference!

It is located off strip 3/4 mile back. But its a little quieter as a result. They do have a regular shuttle to Harrahs.

Very homey, if you love the option of packing light and do your own thing for breakfast at least. This is the place for you, it had a kitchen, plus washer/dryer. Stay here for the day relaxing or go out and about the city, either way, you'll love it! It is everything I love and want when vacationing.

A lot easier to check in and park rather than a casino

Good value, by and large. However, internet connectivity was intermittent (a definite negative, since stay was mostly for work). Also, noise from the adjoining room transmitted to ours, like the walls were made of paper. Fortunately, there were rarely guests next door, and they infrequently talked. Finally, our AC broke down, though that, unlike our internet connection, was fixed pronto by a Wyndham technician.

Great hotel located near the strip, the staff was extremely hospitable, the pool was paradise. Overall, a great place for relaxation. We will definitely return here the next time we visit Vegas.

Seems quite nice. It's slightly different feel than a hotel as this is a time share resort. Had a difficult time just finding out what the phone number was for the front desk for the Wyndham Grand Desert in Las Vegas did not have it's own website, instead the only website was the website for the headquarters and I had to phone them to get the number. This is a time share resort so the experience is slightly different. Well maintained and comfortable, but a bit weird getting to upper floors as we had to go through a garage to get to elevators. After checking in, as we headed to our room, there was a guest who was drunk and he fell down in the middle of hall way blocking our path. I guess this isn't the hotel's problem, but not the best impression. My partner said the room smelled as if someone had cooked fish before and kept telling me that but I didn't really detect it as I had sinus allergies. The bathroom only had one sink and seemed outdated. Kitchen was nice and fully equipped, although outdated, it had everything and was well designed. I can reach the upper cupboards. Didn't like the fact a group of young men starting playing catch in the adult pool, since people didn't have room to swim while they were playing there and no one told them to stop. Lounges were very comfy, and had plenty. It's a decent place. As we left, we were going to take a cab to the MGM as we had planned to stay there and Wyndham offered to take us there in their limo, no charge, just pay driver with a tip. That was nice of them. ...
