Welcome to the Wyndham Gettysburg
Offering flat-panel TVs, an Olympic-size pool and three on-site restaurants, the Wyndham Gettysburg gives you the chance to live like a head of state on your tour of some of the nation's most important historic sites.
This 248-room, full-service hotel on six floors is, in a word, grand. With large and attractive public rooms, an Olympic-size swimming pool, its own giant-screen movie theater and sumptuous guestrooms, the Wyndham pulls out all the stops on pampering guests. Rooms have flat-screen cable TVs, seating areas and plenty of space to lounge or get some work done. The decor is a mix of traditional Federal-style furnishings and modern technology, with presidential blue carpet. The hotel provides a free newspaper each morning, and there are three restaurants on-site, two serving traditional American cuisine and one modern Italian. The lobby bar is the place to be, and the large indoor heated pool, hot tub and fitness center are just what the doctor ordered after a day at the battlefields. The hotel provides a free shuttle to local attractions. Pets are welcome with some restrictions.
Located east of Gettysburg off of Routes 15 and 30, the Wyndham is 10 minutes from Gettysburg National Military Park and the Gettysburg Battlefield Museum. Downtown Gettysburg is three miles away. Harrisburg International Airport is 45 miles from the hotel and Hagerstown Regional Airport is 41 miles.
Priceline guests are thrilled with the pampering they get at the "conveniently located and fairly priced" Wyndham Gettysburg, calling it "a wonderful hotel."

Hotel Guest Reviews of the Wyndham GettysburgOur hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location was not bad; a short 10 minute drive to downtown G-Berg. Hotel was clean and lots of space in lobby to bring a book and sit by the fireplace in front of Robert E. Lee. Nice atmosphere and parking is accessible all around the building. Free coffee in the morning was Starbucks! Can't complain about that! Missed the rolls and donuts though!

The hotel is very spacious and beautiful with a lovely presidential theme. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The hotel was at a great location just off route 15. You could hear a little noise from the hallway, but otherwise it was clean and quiet.

I would stay here again if I were going back to Gettysburg for a visit. Had a very pleasant experience. A bit out of the way and sits back from the road, parking was not really adjacent so be prepared for a short walk, but overall still worth it.

I would not have paid standard rates for this hotel, as it is easy to get a clean, more conveniently located hotel room in Gettysburg for a fraction of the price. I bid very low for a two-star hotel on Priceline, so I was pleasantly surprised when I ended up securing a three-star hotel for a very good price. The hotel is fine--clean, friendly staff, good sized modern rooms. If you plant to spend a lot of time in the hotel, you might appreciate the amenities here. If you plan to spend most of your time visiting the battlefields, I would urge you to get a place closer in. ...

A definite great stay....however, it is not within walking distance to Gettysburg sites requiring car and the hunt for parking once in town.... Minor hiccup...
