Welcome to the Garden Hotel South Beach
Newly renovated rooms and a great location two blocks from the ocean are among the reasons Priceline guests choose the non-smoking Garden Hotel South Beach.
The Garden Hotel South Beach houses 133 rooms on two floors of an Art Deco-style, five-building compound. Grounds are dotted with palms and bougainvillea, and the lobby is decorated in bright tropical colors. Sleep well on the sustainable BeWell beds, which feature organic cotton sheets, pillowtop mattresses and duvets. The LCD flat-screen TVs with premium cable keep guests entertained, and the clock radios with iPod jacks help technophiles stay plugged into their tunes. Bathrooms are trimmed in marble and feature spa-style walk-in showers and upscale bath products. Head to the tropical courtyard and sun deck with lounge chairs for outdoor relaxation, or lounge poolside with a mojito from the hotel bar (beach towels can be rented). The hotel serves breakfast each morning and also has a seafood bistro with outdoor dining. Grab a workout in the fitness room, or use the Internet in the business center. The hotel offers VIP passes to local clubs. Parking is available for a surcharge.
The Garden Hotel is at Washington Avenue and 11th Street in the heart of South Beach, two blocks from the ocean. Flamingo Park is three blocks west, and the Wolfsonian Museum is across the street. Stroll, shop, and dine on Lincoln Road Mall, eight blocks north of the hotel. The hotel is 11 miles from Miami International Airport.

Hotel was good. It's old but does the trick. Except for the construction , it was clean and upheld well for it's age. Its a good place to lay your head to rest. The location is perfect, right smack in the middle of SoBe and 2 blocks away from the beach. Staff was alright, they were helpful, but not so welcoming. One thing I would recommend is door stoppers. People would let the doors slam day and night. Oh and they will charge your CC $150 for deposit. They did this to me without telling me they were charging it. Usually hotels (even 5 star ones) just charge a dollar to see if the CC is valid. Be mindful if you need that extra money, they will take it even if you don't want then too. Everything was ok except that. Oh and the rooms are tiny! ...

I would not stay here again. It is a bargain hotel and decent for the price. But, I would find a nicer hotel if staying in Miami Beach again. You can smoke at the front of the hotel, despite many websites saying you cannot. You won't get any service except a decently priced room, so If that is all you are looking for, it isn't bad. Nothing fancy, just a room.

Overall was a great place. Really friendly staff with a great location. Super close to restaurants and two blocks from the beach. Most fixtures were super modern and updated. The only thing this hotel needs to give it an almost perfect score would be a new cleaning lady. Other than that it was a great experience. Good job Priceline.
