Hotel Guest Reviews of the Wyndham Garden Hotel Baronne Plaza

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Close enough to Canal Street and trolley. Bed was very comfortable as were the sheets/comforter.
Their version of a handicapped room was not as described. Not very close to many places to eat and attached diner was mediocre at best with slow service. No shuttle from airport or to game.

It looked newly renovated on the inside. There were a few different sitting areas in the main lobby which was nice.
The only small problem we had was the television malfunctioning one of the nights. Everything else was great though so it was such a minor thing that did not affect our stay! Everything was great!

The diner connected, "PJ's Diner" is not a 24 hour diner as the signs say outside. They close at 11pm.

Right next to the French Quarter. Free internet.
The bathroom smelled. The refregerator, when plugged, made loud whining noise. The shower water was barely warm when turned to the max heat; turned out, you need to put the handle exactly at 2 o'clock. Then it becomes tolerable, but still not hot.

Many rooms in this hotel face interior corridors, so you can't keep the curtains open without everyone looking in. In the rooms that have windows on the outside, windows don't open.

Impressive Art Deco interior and exterior architecture. Location to Superdome and French Quarter is fantastic.
Room was a little out of date, especially given the standard set by Wyndham.

The diner attached to lobby had copious, scratch-made food. However, understaffed, slow service, and dirty.

Location was great. Few blocks from Bourbon St.
The rooms were outdated and dark. The common areas were upscale but the rooms weren't.

Location
The price. It was $---- for one night. I have stayed here before many times, and have never paid this.
