I needed to use the laundry room early Sunday a.m. before the 8 a.m. opening. The lady with the receptionist checked to see if any guests were in the room behind the laundry room -- that room was empty so she had the receptionist let me do laundry early. I suspect the lady when approved the early use was one of the owners/managers. I really appreciated her willingness to accommodate us without disturbing other guests. Beds were comfortable. We had a window that wouldn't close properly. Told the receptionist in the a.m. When we returned that evening it was fixed. We stayed four nights and the housecleaning lady was very friendly. The lady who served breakfast was very helpful, friendly and just a pleasure to see first thing in the morning. I would recommend this motel. ...

The hotel was right off the interstate and easy to find. It was easy to get to an area with many restaurants, not to mention the Elmer's they share a parking lot with. The room was clean. We used the spa which was very clean and well maintained. The front desk staff was extremely helpful at check in as our plans needed some reworking related to crater lake NP being closed. She provided us with a map of the area, and tips and suggestions for things we might be interested in. Great stay! ...

We stayed for a couple for a couple of days here for the trip to Crater lake and the Wild life safari. The hotel was very neat and clean and in a very good location. Pool and the SPA room were excellent. And the staff were very friendly gave the the info we were looking for and we also got the wild life safari tickets for a discounted price from them.

For a short getaway to explore the Umpqua River area the Windmill Inn was a great location to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk clerk answered all our questions, provided maps for our explorations and after we checked in and saw we were heading next door for dinner informed us that if we showed our room key we would get $2.00 off our meal. When we returned, asked us if we enjoyed our dinner. I like that personal service and attention to detail. The room was nicely appointed and clean. We didn't have a chance to use the pool or sauna but both looked clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay at the Windmill Inn again. ...

I hardly slept at this hotel. Worst experience ever!! I was awake on/off between 11:30-2:30am. People stomping/running up and down the hall. Talking VERY loud. I had ear plugs in and the fan on HIGH Still could hear them. I almost called down to the front desk, but didn't as I THOUGHT my family was asleep and did not want to wake them. In the morning, I found out they were not asleep during this time, and heard all the commotion as well. We were all tired the next day!!! Horrible. To make it worse.. the lady at the front desk did NOT even ask how my stay was. I checked out on the 1st of September. A young blonde haired gal. Just a thanks... basically be on your way. I mentioned it to her.. silence.... so I walked out. We tried to have Free Breakfast, but that was a joke. Over crowded area, and waffle batter was out. Not much else to eat, so we went next door to Elmers. I understand that its expected to be busy as it is free, but the set up made it impossible. I just came from the coast and it was a great experience there. Just a note.... I have never posted about a hotel before. **** Oh and there were kinda nasty people at the pool with a case of beer. And they were there with their kids. GREAT! I honestly think I should be refunded this trip, but you know that wont happen. ...

The hotel was not expecting our dog, and had booked us for a room on the 2nd floor. Their pet policy only allowed pets on the first floor and they were almost totally booked up. We ended up getting a room but was much smaller and did not have the amenities (courtyard) that I had booked and paid for. Priceline: please make a way to communicate to the hotel if we are bringing a pet! ...
