Hotel Guest Reviews of the Willard Intercontinental

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

This was a great place to stay! Friendly staff very helpful, beautiful rich and full of history. We loved it will definitely return and stay!
No complaints..

This was a great hotel. The roomservice was insanely expensive but that was our fault as we sat having such a great time at the world famous bar The Round Robin. We enjoyed our time and the bartenders were great, met wonderful people! The hotel was immaculate from the public restrooms to the rooms themselves. This is worth a few extra dollars. Very close to all the historic sights! ...read more

Checking in definitely needs improvement. We did not get our room until close to 5pm. There were several other people that were experiencing the same thing. I had reserved three rooms!!!

Excellent hotel in a wonderful location. I would definitely be returning!!

The building is beautiful and the location is close to everything.
The room we received was definitely a lower grade than other rooms we've stayed at in the Willard. The walls were paper thin so we could hear our neighbors entire conversations among other things. The view from the room overlooked a roof/vent.

I think when paying priceline prices they put you in the worst room in the hotel. I've stayed here before and hadn't experienced the lower quality room in the past.

the location and history.
it seemed like it needed some updating. the base boards were really dirty.our room was very small and we could not adjust the heat.

this is not a 5 star hotel. yes it has history but the Sofitel and the W are a lot nicer and in the same location.

It's the Willard. Hard to top that.
The overnight valet was really expensive. Cheaper to park in a nearby ramp.

Fantastic location, historic, great staff.
My room did not get warm as I would have liked, but it was not a material issue.

Right across the street from the National Press Club, where I was attending a meeting. I did not know that. I got in the cab and told the driver where I was going, and he just laughed and turned around and pointed out the back window. Just a modest cab ride to Union Station and K Street/Foggy Bottom.

Nice room, very nice bathroom. The in-room coffee was good.
Priceline had advertised complimentary internet for the "Express Deal" at this hotel. However, hotel staff told me this was not part of the package. They then kindly provided a day of complimentary internet access. The hotel and Priceline should come t

Terrific location, quality rooms with very nice appointments, helpful staff, and a grand lobby area. Recommended.
