For a 4-Star the Amenities are as high as they get. Just don't overpay, this property offers deep discounts because it's in the middle of nowhere.
The Resort Fee, like so many hotels, is indefensible garbage. Forcing people to pay for amenities they may have no intention to use. How, in 2014, can a hotel in good conscience charge people to use the in-room phone. Every single customer has a cell.

It's a fair place to stay, but honestly I don't think it's worth patronizing places that insist on these Resort Fees, it's a slippery slope until they blow up to include toiletries, TV access, linens, or the air you breathe.

THE LOCATION WAS BEAUTIFUL AND RELAXING
ROOM NOT READY FOR CHECKIN AT 345PM TRIED ANOTHER ROOM TYPE INSTEAD AND BATHROOM HAD SEWER SMELL. MOVED AGAIN AND ROOM NOT FULLY EQUIPPED WITH WHAT ONE NEEDS TO TAKE A SHOWER ETC TOOK FOREVER TO GET LOTION TO THE ROOM. UNDERSTAFFED MAYBE

Private and secluded spaces gave hotel an intimate feel.
Room service - poor service, exorbitant gratuity fees and double charges.

A lovely place for a quiet getaway. Food at Hotel's Rick's Cafe was absolutely outstanding. Staff in general was extremely gracious, helpful and efficient.

The property itself is beautiful.
The vibe of the property was dismal. Service was good when you could find it. Staff was hard to find. I expected a better service experience with a Westin property. Additionally, the food was not good.

Customer service is amazing. Employees are first class all the way.
Carpet in the room was stained. I was in #3015.

Beautiful property. Restaurant was great. Service was great. View from the room was great. Linens and beds were great. We had a really good time. Already recommended it to several others.

The location. It's idyllic for being in a desert so close to Vegas.
The room was pretty plain Jane for the star rating. I did like having a refrigerator in the room, though. Did not like that a microwave was a rental for $10 extra a night.
