Hotel Guest Reviews of the Wellington Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Location is excellent. Close to lots of NYC sights
Bathroom had rust, mold, and mildew. All three windows in the room had ZERO view, they looked directly into another brick building. Curtains dingy, holes in the wall, and air conditioner (mounted in window ) sounded like a freight train. Wifi = $20 per day

This hotel is divided into two sections. We were placed in the old section that is in desperate need of a renovation. The other section might be three stars, but the one we were in is 1.5 stars at best. I've stayed in 2 stars that had better facilities and were cleaner.

Friendly staff! Bell boys were awesome! Very friendly and funny! Service in all areas were fast!
Rooms and beds were a little on the small side!

Great location! Close to central park and time square. Subway right around the corner!

The room was small and the bathroom was very very small. We booked three rooms and they put us very far away from each other (i made the booking 2 weeks in advance)

The location! 5 min walk to the Central Park and to the Rockefeller Center. About 15 min walk to the Times Square.
The room was too small, but you can't really expect much from a hotel room in the middle of Manhattan.

I would stay there again.

Hotel has a very good location, walking distance to Times Square, Central Park...Fifth Avenue, metro station in front.
Room was very small, smelly (bad smell when we have arrived),dirty carpet, old beds, and no mini bar / fridge or safe in the room. This is not a 3 star hotel quality. Expensive internet.Telephone in the room was not working for two days!

Location is the main plus. Hotel needs new carpets everywhere, quiet dirty. It should be advertised as two star.

The staff is very helpful, the diner is good but pricey. Not many things about this hotel other than rooms. Parking and location make it worth the money. Subway is right there.
Small rooms, dirty windows.

Right on time square, parking is sooooo cheap. 35 a day.
