Hotel Guest Reviews of the Waldorf Astoria New York

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Great location, comfortable beds and friendly bell services
Upon check in staff tried to give us one queen size bed for three people. Charged us an extra $50 for a room with two double beds.

The location is incredible the general level of service as well. The hotel staff does what it takes to make your trip memorable. The historical background is also interesting.
The room was clearly outdated , the wi-fi was not working, the mini-bar door was loose. Details that would not be found in that level of hotel normally. The room does not go with the level of service or general standing of the hotel .

The location is perfect. The hotel is a landmark and the staff was wonderful.

The architecture is beautiful. The regal setting is perfect and friendly but elegant. The hotel's location is right in the center of all the action and steps from 5th Avenue for shopping.

Location was perfect!!
Ordered cocoa from the restaurant...since there was no "to go" drinkware, we were given cups, saucers, and spoons to take to our room. Housekeeping left the cups, saucers, and spoons in the room for 2 days.

Enjoyed experience.

Everything.
Parking was pricey - wasn't clear our car would be considered an SUV and an extra $ 20 on top of $ 68.

Great service.

Not the best hotel that I have stayed in at the published star rating, in fact the only positive was the bed was very comfortable.
Checkin was a chore, the receptionist tried the hard sell to get me to upgrade for an 'special' rate. The décor in my room was dated, it had a truly imitation feel to it - certainly didn't feel I was staying in an exclusive hotel.

Nice hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Good size room.
5 to 15 minutes wait time at check in depending on time of day. Sometimes there were events in the streets around the hotel and the streets were closed for car traffic.

Nice older hotel with history. Room was renovated. Good location.
