Hotel Guest Reviews of the Vendue Inn
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 9, 2013

The hotel is a charming old Inn located near the water for scenic views. It is also close to restaurants and shopping. They have a rooftop bar which is hopping in the evening. All of the staff are extremely personable and willing to accommodate your every need. I wouldn't hesitate to rwvommend this hotel and plan on staying there when we return to Charleston.

This is a great boutique hotel. Very centrally located and great for downtown Charleston. The room was fine though the bed creaked a bit. Bathroom excellent and good breakfast included. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great location and exceptional service.

The only con would be not to book on price line if you need two beds. The difference in the price we paid to priceline and the added expense did not make the hotel worth the money.

Hotel staff extremely helpful and nice. Room was absolutely beautiful and location could not be any better. Room service was very pricey, but there are several pubs/restaurants within a block or two. Parking was not adequate, but is to be expected downtown. Enjoyed the stay and will definitely be back.

Location is phenomenal! As soon as you drive up, the staff is waiting to welcome you and escort you in. The Vendue Inn is an intimate, charming facility. As it is historical, the rooms and appointments are small, but in keeping with the character of the period. We enjoyed the hospitality of the afternoon hors d'oeuvres and wine, as well as the exceptional staff at the Vendue Inn. With remodeling in some areas, we experienced a water loss in one of our rooms. The problem was solved to our satisfaction. We hope to return, spend more time, and would recommend the Vendue Inn without exception. ...
