New Hampshire Hotel Guides

Live free or die! New Hampshire's motto speaks to both the geographical isolation and general independent attitude of its residents. While highly capable of roughing it through the winters, the state is warm and welcome when visitors arrive. Bordered by Massachusetts, Vermont and Maine, and mostly cut off from New England by the Connecticut River, New Hampshire is host to the amazing White Mountain range and to several great lakes as well. Visitors can enjoy a variety of both outdoor and indoor activities such as visual and performing arts, hiking, biking, kayaking, boating, skiing, and admiring foliage in the Fall. The state not only has a healthy amount of entertainment options, but is home to a wide variety of accommodations to suite the needs of all tourists.

The Lakes Region is popular especially during summer time when the water is warm and prime for boating and lounging in summer homes. Small towns like Sunapee reside right next to many of the lakes and have accommodations that suite the need of every visitor be it spring or fall. Hampton Beach is another popular destination located along the coast of New Hampshire. This beach is a popular getaway for couples and city dwellers in the summer. Originally a small artists community, Hampton provides its guests with a variety of lodging options like old Victorian Inns or name brand hotels.

Inland are some tidy little towns typically nestled in amongst the rivers, valleys and mountain ranges. Manchester and Concord offer the best of both worlds; close to the coast and inland enough to enjoy the ski slopes and hiking trails. Manchester is the state mecca for arts, entertainment and history. The state's main airport is located here, so there are plenty of accommodations available. Concord, on the other hand, is the state capital and a great destination for star gazing, hiking, golf and its close enough to make a day trip to the White Mountains. Summer, spring, winter or fall no matter the time or reason, New Hampshire is a fun, versatile state.
