Massachusetts Hotel Guides

Massachusetts lies at the heart of New England and is one state that offers each visitor a fantastic taste of what New England is like. Fresh clambakes, hot apple cider on cold winter days and brightly colored cranberries are among the signature foods of this state. It's not just food that Massachusetts has mastered, the coastline and three large bays offer amazing views and sightseeing opportunities, not to mention the vast history located within. Massachusetts was the center of many historical events and today tourists are still attracted to the sights such as; Plymouth, Walden Pond, and Boston Harbor. Well known for its vast array of sports and outdoors activities, the state welcomes visitors with a warm smile and guest accommodations to fit every need. Travel to Massachusetts and you travel back in time, to a place where friendships are made easy and life slows down just enough.

Most of the eastern half of the state is urban and suburban communities such as the Greater Boston area. It is here that business ventures and history buffs will visit with the expectations of great food, fantastic lodging, and great views, all within a short drive to the infamous Cape Cod region. The Cape is one of many in Massachusetts, but this Cape is special. A long peninsula that reaches well into the Atlantic Ocean, Cape Cod culminates at the tip with the effervescent Provincetown (known as P-town) and is overall a splendid summer vacation destination. Accommodations in Cape Cod range from low-priced hotels to high class spas and resorts. Tourists to this area will enjoy windsurfing, sailing, yachting and fishing.

The western area of Massachusetts is more rural and lush. Smaller towns and cities welcome guests in and offer hunting, skiing, and hiking. Nestled among the mountain ranges of the west lies a town called Berkshire Hills. Here visitors can enjoy the sweet symphonic sounds of the Boston Symphony Orchestra or tour theNorman ockwell Museum. Throughout the fifty cities located in the state, there are sporting events and historic markers to visit. Massachusetts is a destination with a distinctly New England flavor that adds spice to vacations in all seasons. Lodging in the Bay State typically varies from low to mid priced hotels, to mountain lodges, to high class, five star hotels.
