Kansas Hotel Guides

There's no place like Kansas, the heart of America. Also known as the Sunflower state, Kansas is much more than just miles of open plains and tornados. Highly dependent on agriculture, many of the state's cities are attempting to grow their tourism industry due to the wealth of information, history, and culture that the state has to share. Still home to the American Bison, visitors to the state may view this and other wildlife at any of the two refuges in the state. While traveling throughout the state, tourists may stay at any number of hotels or resorts which often provide fantastic service.

Business ventures in the state may be focused on Wichita, a major center for the aircraft industry. Wichita is a fast growing city and with its popularity growing, the city itself is developing into a cultural mecca. Founded by anti-slavery fighters, Lawrence, another city in Kansas, is home to the state University so it's family friendly and welcomes those who enjoy art, music, film and a festive nightlife. The infamous Kansas City is the biggest of all in Kansas. This bustling center of the state boasts a lofty skyline and amazing architecture. Kansas City is a great destination for business and historic sightseeing. All of these phenomenal cities feature lodging for families and businesses in hotels and resorts.

Kansas is the proud destination of two outstanding natural occurrences. The Ozarks, in the southeast is a plateau featuring rivers and streams, hills and mountains that provide the perfect canvas for fishing, hunting and hiking. Similarly, Flint Hills contains one of the last true stands of grasslands in the North American plains. It's for sights like those that tourists are driven to visit Kansas, and while there towns such as Topeka, provide a stimulating backdrop to every trip. Topeka is the location of the Brown vs. Board of Education Museum as well as a variety of other National and historic sites. Visitors to this unique destination will enjoy staying at one of the many name brand hotels, quaint little inns or local Bed and Breakfasts. Sunflowers, farming, bison, or history; no matter the reason, Kansas has the accommodations to help you start each new day of exploration on the right foot.
