Hotel Guest Reviews of the Tween Waters Inn Island Resort

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

It was clean and pleasent. The room was large and the over sized shower was a surprise. The only minus was the wait staff around the pool. The staff seemed disorganized at times (except for Phil who was on top of his game all day). Overall a beautiful location and would recommend it to any couple. I loved sharing the sunset with my wife.

The resort was peaceful, friendly, and had fabulous restaurants! We loved our stay there and are immediately booking for a longer time next year.

This is not a fancy schmanzy hotel but hearkens to the quieter, gentler resort of years ago. If you're looking for "bells and whistles" go somewhere else. This is a family friendly, dog friendly comfortable resort.

Great location, very helpful staff, everything was in good repair and clean.

Location with the Gulf on one side and the bay on the other was great! The resort had a lot of recreational facilities to offer. Suggest you try the Bubble Room for dinner...a unique place.

The staff was very friendly and informative. Location was peaceful and to be steps away from the beach was great!
The "included" expanded continental breakfast was good, but staff made it confusing when we were presented a bill for the meal. It WAS included in the room rate, but added stress. Apparently they do this so that you can add a tip, which we did anyway.

Expect a drive but it's well worth the wait driving through Sanibel to get there. Reach out further into Captiva Island for additional grocery and restaurants. In fact, a drive to explore what is beyond the inn and the rest of the island should be a must, it's a small island, so no worries. The on-site restaurants are fine, but we tried another local restaurant and were thrilled with the meal and ambiance. If I ever go back to this area, Captiva and the Tween Waters Inn would be a do-over. ...read more

Hotel staff were great. Marina & Restaurant staff very helpful. Great location. Enjoyed screened balcony overlooking Gulf of Mexico. Pool was very nice. Also enjoyed kayaking. Very relaxing resort if you want to get away from it all!
Hot tubs surface was too rough and puts pulling in your bathing suit but temperature was perfect.

The location was great because you had the Gulf of Mexico across from your room and the Marina/bay behind you. You could sit on the beach, go boating or sit at the pool and bar. Something for everyone. Also had ferry at next marina that could take you to some of the other island. Water is very calm with manatee and dolphin. Hotel also had a separate kiddie pool. Nice restaurant and Marina store had everything. Its 7 miles to Ding Darling Nature Preserve with nice biking and walking trails. Thousands of birds in Dec. ...read more

The location cannot be any better. Also the size of the the hotel space, beach, pool, boat dock all just great.
We missed having an indoor community room to hangout at night, not just at the bar.

I
cannot wait to go back. I absolutely loved it.

The hotel was convient and affordable for dining on the water.
We had electrical isues upon arrival in our room and the parking was terrible.

Overall thw hotel was great but we did have a few situations. Upon arrival the electrical outlet in the bathroom did not work. We called and they sent someone up within an hour to repair. The next was the lamp on the bedside table shorted out as we went to turn it off. We called the front desk and they sent a new one up within 30 minutes. Parking was horrible. Throughout most of the hotel there was reserved parking for particular rooms our section of the hotel however did not! The over flow parking where I had to park a few times was completely on the opposite side of the resort which was not convient. Now on to the positive things about the hotel. The resturant the Crow's Nest was wonderful and the waitstaff was fantastic. The shopping was great and friendly staff and the managewr of the hotel attmepted to correct every problem we encountered in a timely manner. ...read more

We had a beautiful view of the bay.
I
didn't like that the beach was across the street.
