I used to always book a room in this hotel when it was a Holiday Inn Express. I like the location so I continued to use it after it changed hands and became a Travel Lodge. I am not likely to return to this hotel after this last visit. When I booked the room I was not given the option of booking a non-smoking room. When I checked in, they could not change me to a non-smoking room. The smoke had permeated the room so bad that if my wife had been with me she would have had an asthma attack. My clothes, bags and even my CPAP machine were permeated with the smoke. I still have the residual smoke odor in my CPAP machine, and it is not pleasant to have to smell that all night, every night. Additionally, the lights that worked were not very bright and the AC was not very reliable. To top off my visit, on the second (and last night) the headboard, which was mounted on the wall, broke away from the wall and fell. Luckily it dropped straight down and did not fall forward or it would have landed on my head. The best things about the hotel are the location and the friendliness of the staff. ...

If the water and cable had worked the hotel might have been worth the money. Horrible experience!
