Hotel Guest Reviews of the Travelodge Portland Airport

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

When walking into the lobby people were sitting on the counters. Te lobby was a complete mess. The staff member was very unprofessional. The room was not very clean. I had to clean the toilet. The sink was completely plugged. I have never wrote a review for a hotel. This hotel makes motel 6 look really nice.

The two girls working the front desk were nice
I checked in no problem went to my room and it had not been cleaned. Beds messed up and dirty and garbage everywhere. Second room same thing. Third room tv didnt work. After about 30 minutes finally got a room. Woke up to getting bit by fleas.Barely slept

I checked in no problem went to my room and it had not been cleaned. Beds messed up and dirty and garbage everywhere. Second room same thing beds dirty nothing was cleaned. Third room tv didnt work and the room was stagnant smelling. After about 30 minutes of one of the girls going room to room they finally found a room that was "clean" it took them another 15 minutes to find a remote that worked for the tv. At this point i was so tired from driving all day I just wanted to relax. I was sitting on one of the beds when I seen a flea jump on my leg and jump off to which I squished. I ended up sleeping in the other bed and Woke up to getting bit by fleas around my ankles and back. I slept in pants and a hoodie on top of the covers. On e I was able to fall asleep around 4am a lady was banging on the door yelling then realized she was at the wrong door and started banging on the door across the hall for about 5 min. When I went to check out there was no one at the desk. So I left as I had an appointment to make. I called later and the guy said there was nothing he could do and since I didnt address it immediately I didnt have that much of a problem. I told him all I was trying to do was sleep and me having to get fully dressed to come downstairs to try and switch rooms since i had the only "clean room" or hotels even at 4am was pretty ridiculous and said I need to take it up with priceline. The girls working were nice when I got there around 10pm but I do not recommend this hotel. Bad bad bad. ...read more

THE STAFF WORK HARD TO MAKE A BAD SITUATION BETTER
1) the price i was quoted on the website did not include park and fly although that was what i requested in my search. purposefully misleading. 2) the first room is was given had not been cleaned since last occupant

3) the room i stayed on the sink had dark hair from another guest and did not smell good. 4) at 5 am the next room to me had screaming and fighting. i called front desk. they came up 3 times. then i heard someone thrown against a wall. the police were called.

Staff were nice. Beds were comfortable.
Everything else. It was in the bad part of town, the "breakfast" was a joke, and the rooms were in desperate need if an upgrade. I wouldn't stay here with my family, but if traveling alone I would.

The breakfast consisted of a couple of tangerines and bran cereal. Very disappointing. The beds were comfortable, had clean sheets and the staff were very nice.

This was the worst hotel experience of my life. I am still trying to get my money back from the hotel or from priceline. I understand that there is a no return policy after 6 p.m., but I was harassed by the owner and I did not even make it to my room!

This was the worst hotel experience of my life. I am still trying to get my money back from the hotel or from priceline. I understand that there is a no return policy after 6 p.m., but I was harassed by the owner and I did not even make it to my room! He demanded a $25 cash deposit and my girlfriend nor I had cash. I offered a card to put down, and he took a long time with it, making me feel uncomfortable. He then got both of our Drivers Licences and took a long time with them as well. He proceeded to photocopy our I.D.s which I have never seen before, but apparently that's common in less desirable parts of town. However, I was uncomfortable with the policy and asked for our I.D.s and the photocopy back. The owner got uptight and argumentative with us and made us feel really uncomfortable. I asked for my money back because we wanted to stay somewhere else where the employees don't harass there customers. He said we were not able to get our money as we made a reservation online through priceline and the cutoff for room returns was six p.m.. But we made the reservation after six anyways! I was really tired and upset, and I frankly regard this transaction as theft! What kind of world is it when you pay over fifty dollars to have a comfortable nights stay, only to get pestered and robbed by the hotel owner? I feel that if a customer has an undesirable experience and can't even get to his room, he should be refunded or compensated. Anyways, we left and had to pay for another hotel, and I spent an hour on the phone with priceline to express my concerns. By then it was eleven p.m. and we tried to check in at the Travelodge around nine thirty. I have booked hotels through priceline before, and enjoy your service, but I honestly feel I deserve some substantial compensation for my troubles the night of the 20th of November. Thank You and I look forward to hearing back. ...read more

The night shift staff lady was very nice and helpful
Yes. A lot

Ciggerete holes in the sheets. And the property manager was very invasive and rude and he wouldn't stop harassing me. He harassed me the last time I stayed at the hotel also which was quite a few years ago. I was in a bad situation and had my brother stop by to check on me. It was barely after 10 before the manager was banging on my door telling me he had to leave and that he was going to wait outside my door till he leaves.I didnt come to the hotel to be babysat. not to mention the room I payed for was for two people and had two beds just in case I needed someone to stay with me ...read more
