Family Traveling with Teens
GIVE THEM A CHANCE!!! My family and I travel to Concordia every year to visit with family in the area. This hotel HAS COME A LONG WAY in comparison to previous years where the hotel was beyond dirty, smelly and staff was just horrible, yelling at customers and cleaning staff walking around barefoot!!! I swore after the last time we stayed there we would never stay there again. This year the other hotel in Concordia was booked full due to baseball tournaments going on, so we had no choice but to stay at the Travelodge. I was pleasantly surprised!! We were greeted by the nicest man and our stay was quite pleasant! The new management is trying hard to turn the hotel around and it shows!! The rooms were very clean and fresh. Updates still need to be made (the mattresses were hard and very uncomfortable) but I do believe it's a work in progress and the new staff is trying very hard. The outdoor pool is still out of order, but we were told it was on the to-do list. There is an awesome water park in Concordia so our children were able to cool off there. Overall I would stay there again as I feel confident it will only improve from here on out. ...

The hotel was dirty, smelled, and unsure if the bedding was clean. It took a while to check in. I gave my confirmation that I printed out and the clerk said she could not see those reservations in her system.

The Travelodge is close to where my mother lives - so the location was great! We were very pleased with the two housekeepers - they supplied clean towels and extra soap when needed, they helped in any way they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible, in this really dismal looking hotel - it needs some up-dating,the pool was closed for the five days we where there - the lady at the check in desk was for the most part self absorbed - not really into customer satisfaction - but all in all we had a great visit with my mother as we where celebrating her 80th birthday. Thank you Priceline for giving us a really great price for the rooms!

I cannot recommend this motel since our dogs spent the night in the car. We could have stayed in Warrensburg where the volley ball tournament was, but we drove to Concordia, only because they accepted pets!
