Hotel Guest Reviews of the Embassy Suites Hotel Ft. Lauderdale-17Th Street
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 16, 2013

If you don't want to rent a car, its only $15 to the airport. There are plenty of places to eat nearby. I rented a bike two blocks from the hotel. Using that I could easily cruise to the beach and Las Olas. The hotel was clean, the rooms were big and quiet. Everything I need in a hotel.

Las Olas and Downtown Ft. Lauderdale are about 3-4 miles away and it really is your best bet for nightlife. The Beach might be good for the day if you are there on vacation, but it is way too hit or miss with no real variety at night for night life (think loud big tiki bar with beer poured into plastic cups with lots of folks packed in and standing about doing nothing...with the shot girl walking around and waiting for a beer packed in like cattle...that's the Beach at night). ...

This Embassy was obviously built a while ago, with no major updates in decor or renovations/remodeling in the rooms (aside from flat screen t.v.).

Incredibly comfortable rooms. And having the second room in the suite is so nice.

The Free daily breakfasts and the daily evening happy hour is a great deal. The rooms are equipped with a frig, microwave, and bar. They have a living room that gives you lots of space.

Free breakfast and manager's reception is very nice. The outdoor area near the pool is awesome! Beautiful surroundings.
