Incredible staff-the housekeeper who tracked down part of a cell phone charger for me after I had checked out; the omelet master and the front desk providing me an umbrella.
I've stayed in dozens of hotels in the past six months. The 'free breakfast' at Embassy Suites is the best--omelettes cooked to order from fresh eggs, with cheeses, mushrooms, peppers, and a variety of gourmet additions to suit, delicious fresh melons and berries, bananas and other fruit, fresh juices, excellent coffee, steel cut oatmeal, healthy whole wheat offerings. The set-up of the king suite which kept bedroom quiet even though overlooking the atrium.
We had no complaints about the hotel - only that when, due to unexpected work requirements, our colleague could not attend, and so we had no way of cancelling her room - which was obviously not anything about the hotel.

Location suited us.
When we arrived we were told that Priceline had reserved us a smoking room. The room and the odor were disgusting. We asked to have the windows opened and to have housekeeping come and try to remove the odor. We NEVER want a smoking room.
Make sure that you do not get a smoking room unless you really want one. The hotel looks like it could use an update.

Shuttle to the metro, staff was very responsive to a couple of issues that came up. Good breakfast and the snacks in the evening were nice.

The loud outside noises were very disturbing coming towards the restaurant/bar area in the middle of the hotel.
