Hotel Guest Reviews of the Comfort Inn & Suites Near The At&t Center
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 3, 2013

It was quiet and mostly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great! Good variety. There was an old sock on the floor when we walked in and long black hairs on the pillows. All of us were blonde:( but I felt safe for downtown San Antonio and it was minutes from everything, yet not in the ghetto. The bathroom was really nice but small and we only had decaf coffee in our room. There weren't any lines at check out and the breakfast was kept stocked. ...

For what you get, this hotel is overpriced. I suppose the rooms were of decent size but the stench in the room caused us to switch hotels. The air-conditioning unit in the room did not work well and cycled on and off very noisily. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel was fine, very nice people, the only thing I didn't like was that the pool was not what we all expected it was not heated or the Jacuzzi was not even on.

I would never stay in this hotel again. Next to the hotel are project apartments with barbed wire over the fences. Weeds 3-4 feet high surrounding the hotel. Hallways and rooms un-vacuumed, trashy, dirty with trash behind the furniture, half used water bottles in the desk drawer. Phones in room didn't work and although reported, "nothing could be done." Asked for blanket and linens for sofa bed and told that they didn't have enough linens because the hotel was full. Ended up getting some because the man at reception desk helped us.

Most importantly, my room was clean and I felt safe in the hotel. However, I did not like that there were no back entries from the parking lot making for a creepy walk around the building. The staff was very friendly but somewhat inattentive during non-business hours. The elevators and ice machine areas needed a bit of a scrubbing. There was debris in the corners and the floor need a nice scrub. These are minor things and I will probably stay here again for the price and location. ...
