Hotel Guest Reviews of the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.Sort by: All Travelers | Business Traveler(1) | Solo Traveler(2) | Traveling as Couple(5) | Family with Young Children(2) | Group Traveler(1)

Room design esp. The bathroom.
No.
Quiet location with a beautiful garden area. Try to book a room with the garden view, worth it.

Location was great
The did not honor the priceline room sold to us and did not have any interest in satisfying our request.
Room provided was pretty standard and not what was promised which was really disappointing considering we were traveling with other friends and were expecting a 400 sq ft balcony where we could enjoy a glass of wine together. Instead we were given a balcony that fit 2 chairs. Very disappointing.

The hotel charged me for my room so I was charged twice. I also told them I had a guest visiting me because there is a prking fee 22 dollars but my friend never showed up I called and told them they said they will adjust it. Still on my bank account today
I called three times trying to get those charges off my bank account its 5 days later and its still on my bank statement. I think they need to be more organized.
Nice hotel just need to get it straight with the front desk that you booked with a second party and that they dont charge you again.

Good size, comfortable rooms and the staff was helpful.
No light in closet, poor quality coffee maker, impossible to use sink without getting water everywhere, refrigerator not cold enough (no way to change) and very odd soap. Each bed should have its own reading light and the clock should be properly set.
The parking and breakfast package is a great deal. For $3 more than just parking we got full breakfast for both of us. That saved us $37 each day!

Spacious room - I asked for a nice room and they gave me a renovated room. It wasn't "wow", but it wasn't bad either. Not sure if I'd be interested in staying in an older room.
Separate elevators/entrances for parking garage and hotel kind of a pain. It took 2 elevators to go down 1 floor. Also, strong cooking odor in room, especially in the morning.

Great rooms, nice view of the golf course and ocean.
While standard at hotels like this, paying for internet connections and parking is annoying.

Staff was friendly, restaurants were fabulous, grounds were beautiful and gorgeous view.
The bathroom in our room was falling apart: toilet paper holder broke, there was a hole in the ceiling by the sprinkler.
