Hotel Guest Reviews of the Embassy Suites Hotel Denver - Aurora

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. I loved the open design of the hotel and the beauty of the foyer. The daily breakfast was also great, with made to order omelets, hashbrowns, pancakes, and sausage, and a large selection of drinks and sides. Oh and the 24 hour business center is a plus.
I did not like the overall lack of cleanliness in the hotel. Also, although I expect to pay for pay-per-view movies, $18 for a movie already out of video is ridiculous.

The hotel is in a pretty good location, and was only about a ten min drive from downtown Denver, so for us it was worth it to drive some and thus save some on the parking costs. We were greeted right away by friendly staff and we were directed to our room. The building is very open with a beautiful fountain in the middle of the hotel. The size of our King Suite was great, and larger than I was expecting. But we quickly noticed a few details that housekeeping missed. In the living room there were glow-sticks on each picture hanging on the walls from the previous guests. The bathroom was obviously not cleaned and there was what we first thought were crumbs on the counter. The counter had everything new set out(shampoo and bars of soap, etc), but there were little crumbs it. After looking closer I realized that the crumbs were not crumbs, but actually little marijuana buds. The little vanity in the bedroom also had not been cleaned and had something sticky on it. We were also only given about a half a roll of toilet paper, so we ran out before housekeeping came. Ignoring all these signs, we went down to the pool. It looked like it had a milky film on it, so after checking out the hot tub we just went to bed. Upon checkout I filled out a comment card and wrote that although the food was great and the hotel was beautiful, our room was dirty. I described the counters, glow sticks and pool in my comments card. I handed that card to the person at checkout about 2 weeks ago and I have not heard anything back from them. It's a shame that a hotel that was otherwise great losing my business due to lack of attention by housekeeping. ...read more

Great location, as I was in town to watch the US vs Costa Rica at DSG park. Weather was a little snowy and cold but was able to go to the mall and downtown before the snow came.
No, I booked it and knew it was not downtown, but having the mall close was great and the Soccer Park was right down the road.

Great if you are in town to go to the Soccer Park, close to the mall it was an easy drive. Not to far from downtown on a decent day. Would stay there again, good staff, great breakfast, friendly staff.

Liked the happy hour and the breakfast.
Front desk could be more helpful.

Overall it is a nice place to stay. Have had them get the rooms mixed up. Have had to change rooms. happy hour is nice but have been there when the staff is rude.

Checking in/out was quick. Staff very friendly. Like the atmosphere of hotel.

Based on a previous stay from one year ago, the only thing we found missing was that the managers reception had been scaled back to chips, salsa and popcorn. We missed the vegis and cheese/crackers. Other than that, the happy hour is fantastic. The breakfast was delicous with lots of choices.

It's family friendly.
Way too much chlorine in the pool, water was ice cold and hot tub was scalding, no in between.

It was a good price and served it's purpose, but not quite the vaca feel I was going for, but the kids had a good time.
