Hotel Guest Reviews of the Marriott Downers Grove Suites

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

loved the room. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable about area. Mostly, loved the birthday card given to my signifigant other. Kudos to everyone there that day!
Everything was just fine.

The rooms are nice and spacious! The restaurant downstairs was nice and the food was tasty and delivered to the table in a timely manner.

Nice rooms and spaces
Management was my main issue. There were some teenage sports teams staying here with virtually no supervision. I guess they had reserved enough rooms that management would not make any waves with them and allowed them to do as they pleased.

I have never had a bad stay at a Marriott until my weekend here. Management was indifferent to our complaint of kids slamming doors and running up and down hallways until 12:30 AM, I normally perceive Marriott as being a higher end hotel with some level of conduct enforced, I might as well have stayed at Motel 8, really disappointed with them.

I liked how it had two separate rooms. It had a mini fridge with a mini freezer and a microwave. There were 2 large flat screen television. It wasn't just like a large hotel room because the bedroom was separated by french doors.

I love how the price was affordable and it was so close to soo many stores. It was a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of Chicago.

The loved the bed in the room. The room overall was really nice.

The hotel was really nice. It was located right near an expressway so we had no problem going into the city to do things. It was also located near a great shopping area and a variety of restaurants.

My husband asked for extra coffee packages for our room and the front desk man said he would have someone bring some up, which never happened. There were no phone calls or other guests at the time we went and asked him.
The bed was so old and terrible my husband kept rolling into the middle there is a huge sag in the mattress. Then, there is a mattress pad on top of the mattress that was too small for the mattress and the fitted sheet kept coming off the bed.Room 328.

The location is excellent to many of the interstates and dining and shopping.

There was a charge ($12.95 daily) for the use of Wi-Fi in the room for Priceline customers. Also there were 2 Quart bottles of water in the room, for which we were charged $7.00 ($3.50 ea.).
