Hotel Guest Reviews of the Budapest Marriott Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 16, 2013

the staff was helpful.
The hotel overlooks the Danube river dust across from the Citadel and the Castle. It is within walking distance to virtually every tourist attraction within the city. The staff was friendly and helpful, the beds were most comfortable and the bathtub was perfect. Each room has a view of the Danube and it really was remarkable. We slept well, we saw all the sights, we walked the shopping district (just around the corner from the hotel) all in all, a perfect location for anyone visiting Budapest. ...

Was not pleased with the hotel due to the fact that WiFi was not free of charge. The fact that I stayed in a five star Marriott and that I had to pay to communicate with my family overseas was unacceptable! It was a major inconvenience for me and the friends I traveled with.

We had a lovely stay, they let us check out late, and helped us find the subway and post office. The food is overpriced and in Budapest finding cheap restaurants is a bit hard.

Everything you'd expect from a Marriott, in a charming, and beautiful city. Literally steps away from the Danube, and the city's most vibrant area for dining, shops, nightlife, etc.
