Hotel Guest Reviews of the La Quinta Inn & Suites Chicago Downtown

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

THE HOTEL STAFF WERE EXCELLENT IN ALL WAYS! THE ROOM WAS LARGE AND IN A GREAT LOCATION FOR EASY WALKING MANY PLACES. THE ICE CREAM VENDING MACHINE WAS AWESOME :) AND THE POOL AREA WAS SMALL BUT NICE. BREAKFAST WAS ALSO VERY GOOD AND ABOVE OUR EXPECTATIONS

They had a pool, free breakfast and parking right next door. Quite a few restaurants within walking distance.
The pool was small, but still fun.

This hotel was a great value for the price! Breakfast was pretty good and had a variety of food. The room was a good size.

Generally "appeared" to be clean. Staff was polite and helpful.
Decor was so-so.

Happened to be close to the Willis tower, where the "Skydeck" is located, which I had coincidentally planned to visit on this trip.

We had to wait for a room because we arrived so early. When we came back from a nice lunch at a nearby restaurant, we were upgraded to a very nice king suite. Excellent experience!
No.

The booking process was smooth as usual. I was very surprised at the level of comfort and decor at a LaQuinta. Great location and convenient for dining within walking distance. Nice to stay someplace outside the Water Tower area. The only thing that put me off a little was the lack of smiles from the staff. Everyone was helpful, but all seemed to be unhappy to be at work.

Excellent location. Bellman provided service above expectations in welcoming us, assisting with parking, getting us settled in rooms, securing cab transportation etc.

Good location and good value for downtown Chicago
Asked for double bed room, and none was available. So had to stay in a King size bed with my 2 kids. No rollaway bed or sofa. Gym is a bit small.

Very good value for the money, good location, restaurants at walking distance (at keast a block away), good staff, clean rooms. Parking is expensive at $40 pre night in a public parking next door

The public areas are very clean. The free breakfast is just enough to get the day started. There are Keurig coffeemakers in the rooms.
There was a VERY noisy vent in my room and I had no control over it. I used swimmers' earplugs and still heard the vent. At the end of my trip, I was exhausted because I was unable to sleep with that noise.

Clean good sized room, good breakfast, and very nice staff.
I decided to not bring my own shampoo and conditioner because hotels always have them right? They somehow ran out and their shipment was supposed to arrive at noon; a little too late for my morning shower. They finally found some for me, though a bit late

It's a great location if you're going to the Lyric opera, symphony hall, or any of the theaters. Close to the shopping district and in the heart of the Loop.

The staff did everything they could to make sure we had all we needed to have a great family weekend.
I liked everything.

The hotel has a great fitness room and clean pool. One of the better hotels we have stayed in for quite some time. Absolutely fantastic deal.
