Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western Plus Hawthorne Terrace Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Ray was helpful, happy to call a cab for me. Location was somewhat close to Downtown. Building was quaint and beautiful.
I wish I had known the provision about booking with Priceline.com. I was assured my room would be non-smoking, however, upon arrival, I was informed since I booked with Priceline, I was not privy to request this. I was given first available, smoking.

Good location, beautiful building exterior, be sure to request a non-smoking room if you so desire.

Great location
Was assigned a smoking room. Hallways smelled like smoke. Staff could definitely act excited to see me at least.

Wonderful location near Boystown. Was the reason I chose the hotel and it met expectations in that regard. The rooms were nice and clean. I would stay there again, but just don't be expect to be greeted with a smile by the staff.

Comes with mini fridge and microwave.
Public areas smelled funny.

Just want to add that parking next door is $26.00 with in and out privileges with hotel voucher. You're a solid $12.00 cab ride from the Water Tower.

fire alarm pulled at 6 a.m. Route from room to exits not clearly defined. Overnight staff confused about how to handle the situation.

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The microwave, mini fridge and coffeemaker were nice additions to the room. It was nice that you could park next door for $26 a day.
It was nice that breakfast was offered and included in the room rate, however, the breakfast set up was very scattered, there wasn't enough lobby seating for guests to eat comfortably, and the quality of the hot foods offered was less than average.

This is a nice hotel if you want a Wrigleyville or Northside neighborhood location. The rooms are very nice for the hotel price. The staff was very friendly.

The location was great for what we wanted and I was very pleased with the cleanliness of not only the room, but all the area we saw.
The breakfast was not impressive, but the coffee was available all day and that was nice since the weather was cold and rainy/snowy.

The front desk personel were very nice and helpful when we asked for advice about getting around the city. The hotel was close to a restaurant called Wilde, where we had supper both evenings and had a terrific meal. It was easy to get to, off of I-90. The hotel is also within walking distant to Wriggley Field.

Wonderful location, spacious room, fantastic staff
loved everything!!

A wonderful, boutique hotel in a great area in Chicago. The staff was very helpful and friendly...wonderful included breakfast in the lobby each morning. Great room with refrigerator and coffee maker for your convenience. Really no negatives at all...would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to chicago...since it is smaller I feel it was a more intimate experience. Really very impressed. ...read more
