Hotel Guest Reviews of the Renaissance Chicago O' Hare Suites Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Was very nice and comfortable.
Not sure what the issue was but they didn't have my reservation. After they talked with Priceline they said it was due to Priceline having my name wrong. Hotel gave me free parking for the trouble.

Very nice hotel, if you have the chance add the breakfast when you book. Its a better deal. Breakfast was very good. Rooms are very spacious.

Room was fine
All of the extra charges & mediocre bar/restaurant

This hotel was not a good value compare to others in the same area. I would not return.

Staff very courteous and professional. Rooms with separate bedroom and very updated / modern appeal.
They charge you $25 a day for parking, which is excessive. They charge you $12.95 additional for internet. I feel like they try to milk you of extra cash everywhere you turn. The parking charge is excessive given the location of this hotel.

Rooms are very nice and have separate bedroom. Updated hotel rooms and downstairs. Very nice. Staff very good. However, beware of hidden charges. They charge you $25 a day for parking, which is excessive. They charge you $12.95 additional for internet. I definitely got the feel they try to milk you for extra cash when you stay there.

Good rooms, nice swimming pool
Horrible customer service - Rude reception Staff and the Driver of the Airport shuttle -old man with Glasses was extremely rude and making obscene gestures. Cutlery always had stains on them and definitely not upto Mariott standards.

Extremely bad customer service - very rude staff who misbehave. Rude Reception staff: yuliana or something similar, young man with glasses in the reception, Asian women with short hair all of them were extremely rude. And if that is not enough the airport shuttle driver - old man with glasses was making obscene gestures and extremely rude. cutlery has stains not Mariott standard, not much options in the menu for vegetarians, overly priced - even a Bottle of water is $5. Swimming Pool is nice with free towels but too many people so you can barely swim. Room is nice, couch in room is old, fridge in room does not cool well, needs to be replaced and there is no microwave in room. Freeway traffic noise is always there in room so can't have sound sleep. There is no shoe shine facility, although the hotel website claims to have it. Overall not worth the price you pay and not upto 4 star / Mariott standard. I got fed up and checked out and checked in to a better hotel. Will ensure my company removes this hotel name from the recommended hotel list in Chicago. ...read more

The space in the room.
The fact that parking costs and Wi-Fi cost were not displayed when I was confirming the hotel.

Roomy and location to airport
Shortly after leaving hotel I became ill. I had purchased some dinner in lounge and it did not agree with me. It was not a pleasant plane ride home. Abdominal issues. I did not want to say anything until I received this survey.

Overall room was clean and spacious

It had a decent location, close to the airport, and it also had nice suites. Rooms are attractive.
Had to pay for parking and for internet inside the rooms.

I feel that the hotel was very nice, but I would have liked free parking.
