Hotel Guest Reviews of the Courtyard By Marriott Williamsburg

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

I really like the remodeled hotel. Everything seemed nice, new, and fresh. The young lady that assisted me with checking in was extremely friendly, helpful, and professional.
The rooms were a little small, given the new furniture and redecoration.

This is a great place to stay, especially if you are visiting Busch Gardens, as it is in a safe location and only about a mile from the park entrance.

Got it for a great price. Kids loved the pool.
Thought breakfast buffet was included, but was not.

Lobby has been updated with touch tv delivering local info. Starbucks shop too. Computers to use along with printer.

Very new, updated look. Kids liked the pool that you could swim from outside to inside. Outdoor patio great for lounging. 2 queen beds instead of full Great!!
pay for coffee/tea in the lobby. Starbucks ugh and don't like the room coffee/tea as there isn't milk to go with it.

Hotel seems recently renovated, so everything is modern, clean, and in good repair. Staff were truly outstanding in courtesy, helpfulness, professionalism. Lobby area has a convenient, comfortable, family-friendly dining facility that serves modest menu.
The dining area lacked a high chair, but they said they had ordered some. The food quality was only fair, but for a family with small children, this was BY FAR outweighed by the huge convenience of having in-house food at all hours. Pool under renovation.

Ideal location, equidistant to Colonial Wmsbg and Busch Gdns. Adjacent to a great family-friendly restaurant The Whaling Company, whose house-made desserts were a real standout. WONDERFUL staff who strive to enhance your stay. No noise problems for us, even though we were on the first floor. Everything in the room was clean, updated, and comfortable. Coffee-maker and mini-fridge (quiet!) were adequate, but it would have been nice to have a small microwave. Lobby dining area is a great bonus for families with small children, as they serve both packaged ready-made items (sandwiches, salads, yogurt) and hot items to order. Just don't expect the best quality of food. The pool has both indoor-outdoor sections, but was under renovation so we did not get to try it. I would definitely stay here again. ...read more

I like the new renovations being done. Wasn't completely finished yet, but looked great.
Not at all.

Great hotel, friendly staff. Renovations looked great. Sorry we missed the grand opening of the new cafe. It was opening that night, but we will surely be back. Always love this hotel.

Rooms were very nice, good layout and good size . Everything you would want.
No

One of the nicer lobby/ shared spaces I have seen . Very close to Busch Gardens, not far from downtown Williamsburg, so convenient to everything. The room was also very nice, wished we were staying longer.

Great location, super friendly staff, clean and refurbished rooms
No free breakfast

This hotel was amazing. I got the room through one of those online bidding sites for about half the rack price and could not have been more satisfied. It is in a great location, right down the street from Busch Gardens. When I first arrived, I went to the front desk and the attendant processed my check in, then asked if I had ever been to that hotel before. I said no, and she proceeded to come around from the desk, and walk me around the lobby, pointing out all the different areas of the hotel which may be of interest. She mentioned that the hotel was older but just finished getting a "make-over." As we made our way to the room, it was clear that the room had been freshly refurbished. All of the furniture looked new, the bed was clean, the bathroom was spotless, and there wasn't a mark to be found in the whole room. Once we got in the room, we didn't hear one sound from the hallway or another room, and it was very easy to relax. They have this neat pool which starts inside and then continues to the outside. The exercise room was a little small - only about 3 machines, but it was empty so there were no problems there. Overall, I think it was a great hotel, it's clear that they are trying to update everything and it shows. ...read more

The hotel had very nice rooms and great staff. However the hotel was undergoing renovations which meant if you wanted to use the pool you had to go outside the building to get to the pool. The weather was in the 30's... it is hard on the kids.
No

Very accommodating staff will all the work going on. Very willing to help in any way to get what we needed.

Over all experience was good. Breakfast staff was very friendly. Enjoyed my stay, would stay there again.
The only thing I did not like were the pillows. Very fluffly to look at, but would go flat as soon as you put your head on it. No support. Bring your own if possible.

Overall this hotel was good. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Did not like the pillows, but not a big deal. Got a great deal through priceline, so I was happy.

Staff was great, they were making the best of it during renovations.
The renovation that was occurring. Necessary but timing was unfortunate!

If you are playing golf at Kingsmill Resort or headed to the Park you can't beat the location. The Sportsman's Grill just down the street has great specials. Would stay again.
